I can never root for them, but that was horrific. I kinda feel for the Mexico fans. Getting dismantled like that will not sit well for years to come.

I still got America on the tourney but seeing Mex loose like this is just unbelievable. They have talented players but what I believe really costed them this massacre was Osorio switching the Defenders too much. Also, the lack of Marquez was definitely felt.

Reyes should stay as the starter and so should Jimenez. Duenas was the ultimate disaster, tho. Everyone just went through him like a ghost. Molina at least.

Hope Osorio learns. This is literally what happened to Klinsmann when he was switching the defense every match.

Embarrassing performance by everyone. Osorio never stuck to a line up, and treated this tournament like he was still in the Colombian league. The team has no idea what it's playing at. I doubt he will change his "philosophy" even after this. The players deserve just as much blame. Showed no heart, desire, balls, anything. Maybe it was overconfidence because of the great record they've had, but even in the previous games the team never played well, even against Jamaica the defense looked suspect. Barely managing a draw against Venezuela thanks to awful defending by them was another warning sign. Osorio is a good guy, and im sure he'll continue to garner a good record in the qualifiers and friendlies, but in two years when we face actual opposition, it'll be the same thing all over again.

Chile came out and played the game like a Copa America QF is supposed to be played. They aren't as good as last year, but they want it just as bad, and they still have several WC players. Not sure if they'll be able to get past Colombia without Vidal though. This is Messi's cup to lose.
