I mean you are one of the best teams and one of your most creative players plays for West Ham ffs.

Shitty english teams having  shitload of money shouldn't be used as an argument to denigrate a player's ability or the NT he plays for . hmm

Payet is easily a top 3 AM at the moment .

Something something about the standard being worse than i thought if that's true. Also if he was that good West Ham would be much better than they actually are, so no he isn't.

Especially considering how bad the PL is, which i'm not the only one who see's that.

Yeah because me thinking the standard in international football being at an all time low outside of South America is a new thing.

Been saying this for months lol.

Mole hasn't recovered from Rafa taking them to relegation.

I know how it feels to be coached by Rafa , so can't blame him.

This makes zero sense . Laughing
He is that good , and that's the reason they were fighting for a top 4 spot until the end and managed to book a european spot next season .
He was in the team of the season in case you didn't notice . hmm

Oh on the contrary, i'm looking forward to the new season more than any other in like a decade Laughing

As for Rafa unbeaten in our last 6 games and beat Spurs 5-1, yeah it's so painful. Laughing

They was only fighting for a top 4 spot in deluded peoples minds, as i have been saying for months they never had a chance realistically.

Also considering Arsenal sleepwalked to 2nd and Leicester won the league, fighting for 4th spot in this league isn't really that much of an impressive achievement.

As for team of the season, it's meaningless. The way it's voted on in England makes it so. I mean Scott Parker won player of the year one year and Ryan Giggs did too after after playing less than 15 games lmao.

Please don't pay attention to season awards in England, they about as irrelevant as Serie A is outside of Italy lol.

West Ham fighting for the 4th spot was a mathematical reality  . they basically blew it with the series of unlucky draws and unexpected loss to Swansea .

Payet was the driving force behind that top 4 push , saying he isn't that good because West Ham would have been doing better if he were is pure nonsense . Laughing

The football has been of acceptable quality. Its not 'shit' at all.

It may not be of absolute wc quality but its been compensated by the competitiveness ,the fan atmosphere in games and the hype which is drawing me to watch every game.

Again,it depends on what you want and how you perceive sport.I love competitivity and the EURO is giving us just that without compromising on the football quality that much.-

That's more in line with the reality and i don't mind that. But i can't watch competitive games without quality to go with it.

Then it just becomes who is slightly worse than the other Laughing

Don't make me rant again :coffee:

But seriously they have some talented midfielders from a technical point of view but lack a lot of things which is required to be winners.

Frankly I'm starting to think their coach isn't that good. He's always there and their always underwhelming.
Terim might have been great 15 years ago but Turkey continue to go nowhere with him.

What teams ?  Both  Guays are garbage and just got booted out of the Copa by North /Central american teams . Laughing
Brazil  has the worst team since its inception .
Colombia has a some bling bling upfront but a dreadful defense and no depth in midfield .
Peru ? Venezeula ?  B+ players with most of their stars  past/nearing the end of their prime .
Chile is great unit but hardly boasts any world class talent  beside Vidal and Sanchez .

Only Argentina is WC , and they just lost a WC final to a european team if memory serves me right . hmm

( last post about this , sorry RG )

When i look at that team i don't see much balance or goal threat in fairness to the manager, usually a team won't do much if it doesn't have either even if you have quite a lot of technical talent.

No idea what Colombia are doing since the last Copa America but Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Chile etc etc are better than the majority of European teams.

Hell only Germany really has an argument here. Laughing

None of Belgium, England, Italy, France, Spain and what ever else are better than those teams.

Strong argument bro.

That's like saying when the PL dominated the CL but one team from Spain or Italy kept beating them that they wasn't dominant because one team managed to beat them.

Same thing here, because Germany managed to beat Brazil and Argentina doesn't mean the whole of Europe is stronger.
