Hoping for Germany v Portugal. Can't be bothered to check the ranking thing to see which is more likely.
Insane games btw.

As for 4 best 3rd place teams are concerned right now the table is like this,
1.Slovakia
2.Portugal
3.Northern Ireland
4.Turkey
Still need to determine if Ireland or Sweden can win their games tonight.

Portugal - Germany can't happen anymore, logically.
That's what I get from reading these combinations. http://www.eurosport.com/football/euro-2016/2016/third-place-at-euro-2016-how-it-works-who-plays-whom-and-who-will-qualify-for-the-last-16_sto5651583/story.shtml
Portugal will meet Croatia.

Slovakia are rewarding for being the best 3rd place team with playing Germany

Ireland win and they're through, Sweden win and they're through. LOL at this format.
Turkey could advance after only showing up for 1 game if both Italy and Belgium win.

Yeah this assuming neither Ireland or Sweden win tonight. Then it definitely looks like a Croatia-Portugal knockout tie.

Turkey are out.
And if Ireland or Sweden win, they have 4 points-- having beaten Belgium/Italy -- what's wrong with that?

Turkey are out if either Ireland or Sweden register wins, otherwise they're through. They'll be the 4th best placed 3rd place team in the table.

Meh, 3rd place on either end should get zero rewards. On the other hand you have 1st place Italy in a hard group, possibly getting maximum points and playing the double reigning Euro champs

Most entertaining game of the euro so far. I don't think Portugal will go far, they just have too many weaknesses.
But this game though, and especially Ronaldo's performance, it was simply sensational. His first goal? My god what a beaut!

I think we can all agree that this Spain side is nothing compared to the double-reigning European champion that smashed Italy with 4.
Croatia would've been a far tougher opponent for Italy.

Embarrassing, it's such a lopsided tournament it's literally had a stroke. 11 WCs on one side, 0 on the other
Hope it's Wales purely because they actually topped their group and I can't in good conscience support the other group toppers when I have to sit and suffer a fat dude sweating through his tracksuit bottoms in a globally broadcasted tournament.

Re: EURO 2016 France - Group F
The brackets lopsided because England and Spain failed to win their groups. It'd actually look a reasonably balanced bracket had they won their groups.

Wales is decent enough, worse teams have made it far, Portugal even made the final that one time, and they're basically a sunny (and greasy) Wales.

A Portugal with a Figo, Rui Costa, Deco, young Cristiano combined with Champions league winning Porto players such as Maniche, Paulo Ferreira, Costinha etc ?
Lol thats a miles better team.

Portugal 2004 was much better than Wales. They even got to the WC semis 2 years later.
