I honestly think he'll do it.

To be fair, I think if there were even a chance he was earnestly contemplating rejecting the offer and leaving, he wouldn't have said the sorts of things he did in his comments to the stadium today. He'd have been as cagey and reticent as possible in the event he did eventually decide to call it a day. To belabor so much how he wanted to stay and how "we" had x, y and z still to do together, he'd never risk saying those things only to renege on them in the end.

He was reportedly offered 20m pounds a year in China, while we're offering 3m pounds a year to stay.

Matt Law is reporting that Chelsea's offer to Terry is reduced wages, 4th CB spot, club captain and we'll still sign a new CB.

It also says Terry's mood had changed since Wednesday, so it sounds like he'll stay.

So we could see just a CB introduced and a defence of:
Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Baba/Ake, Cahill, Zouma, Benatia (obviously, Roman), and Terry.

Would have figured the proposition was something like that.
