It's time to start jumping on the hype train. My newsfeed is blowing up with this kid.

Re: Ben Woodburn
There's already a youth and reserves thread, and he's been talked about in it.

Re: Ben Woodburn
Not bad... It's U18s though. Hard to get too excited until they've at least shown a decent level against U21 competition.
I want to know who the deep-lying CM or CB is that keeps spraying those long, cross-field balls to him. I think he may be wearing #6 in the video.

Re: Ben Woodburn
That's Adam Phillips. He's also discussed in the youth and reserves thread.
Woodburn is the best prospect we have. He's a prodigy. He'll be with the first team within the next two years, but anyway there's no reason to have a topic already.

You found out about him like a week ago.
Hell I'd be willing to bet you have never actually watched a game he's played.

Re: Ben Woodburn
pls
I don't even know why you hype players so much and make a fool out of yourself. We have such an amazing track record with the youngsters making the step up.
It's not worth hyping any youngster unless he regularly gets first team action for a while.

I had made jokes about WoodBurn long time back because of his name. But the lad is proving me wrong so far. I hope his talent and hardwork saves himself from McYoungTalentJinx

Re: Ben Woodburn
I hope we somehow tries to get him play in Cup games and never send him on loan. Kent is also a tremendous talent but I hope he finds a loan where he comes back with greater confidence and then establish himself, because right now I dont see him ahead of so many other midfielders or wingers.

Position and role wise he's similar to Baggio/Totti/Del Pierro/Cassano/Dybala in a rather than Joe Cole. Joe Cole was a midfielder that had a good attacking sense. Woodburn is skillful forward with an equal deadly eye for goal.
Can't wait. He's been the forward Britain has been waiting for since Rooney failed to progress his game any further after 2004 Euros.

Re: Ben Woodburn
Woodburn scores 2 more goals against Brentford. Also scored a pen in the shootout if you want to count it as a hattrick.
