Yeah, i thought Kane and co. got the better off him in the first half. He was struggling with the agility of Tottenham players as was our entire defense but he turned it around in the 2nd with an epic performance.

I don't need a master's degree in business administration to know that half-heartedly tucking Marcelo's shirt first, then signaling offside with full conviction, all the while Marcelo is running past and scoring, is NOT good defending.

Also it was his ridiculous mistake that led to the Ronaldo golaso but I think people, in time, would forgive him on that one.

No CB is flawless, Chiellini, Bailly, Ramos, they're all elite but prone to the odd bad game, especially against the best in the world. It's football. Still doesn't mean he isn't the best CB of this generation by far. Put some respect on his name.

Still don't think he is the best CB of any generation but a very good CB nonetheless.

CB is just out against anything Juve because we knocked out both his teams in these 2 seasons.

Plays a part, and then Juve goes on further to lose to Real Madrid in the final to give one of the worst CL winners in recent memory back to back CL wins, and are now flopping against an even worse Madrid

There is a lot I don't mind about Juve as a club and I'll never hate them like Madrid, Chelsea, maybe Man U, Espanyol, Liverpool. I enjoy the Juventini contingent on GL too

But their results are like the anti-CB, pushing forward the things I hate most in football while holding back the things I like best.

The best defenders in the world can concede goals especially when they face superior sides. Does not make them frauds because they did not keep a clean sheet every game.

Its not like Chiellini is getting merked by scrub sides like Shakhtar, Man Utd, Basel etc. 2015 it was MSN, 2016 it was Bayern (was he injured? don't remember), last year it was Kommander, this year it was Frosted Tips Kommander. They can make any defender in the world look like fools.

Since last week i start to have doubts about this season, i'm not sure if it will be successful. Now i doubt it highly.

I think it's shit news and it starts my week end on a very sad note. Wow

Massive, MASSIVE loss for Sarri and Juventus who's luck could not get any worse after what has been a terrible two weeks for him.

Chiellini is a warrior as we all know but just having turned 35 and already having niggling strains around that area signalling what may have been a ticking time bomb in his current injury, most definitely would be out for the season given his age thus slower recovery process for an already delicate area.

That is unless a miracle or some very rigorous recovery processes after a successful surgery takes place but either way the long departure out of game time in itself leaves him out of form after.

This cannot be a better time to put in de Ligt whom I predicted Sarri would not play above Bonucci-Chiellini cause that is just how stubborn he is. de Ligt who was notably passive aggressive in his words after being benched all of last game, will definitely be welcoming this opportunity and rightfully so. Should it be him and Bonucci partnering together that could turn out to be an attacking spectacle from the centre-back line.

That is unless old Sarri favourite Rugani plays over him cause 'Calcio experience' to which I can see happening given his mulish mentality when it comes to squad changes.
