Is this worth watching? i recall seeing it when i was very young. Kinda nostalgic, but the memory is very hazy.

Try 1-2 episodes. I am not sure how a series made in the 70s will feel now.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is on Netflix worldwide. It is a masterpiece and of the GOAT animes made. Anyone who did not watch it should do so ASAP. inb4tooold

Vinland Saga is airing now. Dropped the first 3 eps at once.

Get on that if you never read the manga.

Evangelion was trash. Shinji was one of the first of the pussification of protagonists that ruined anime.

Kare Kano, from the same studio, was a much better show.

In Kaze Tachinu did you cry when Horikoshi's prostitute left her medical asylum and sacrificed herself so that he could kill Korean people even better? It never happened, but someone "anti war" and "anti-imperialist" felt the need to create a pure yamato queen to tug at the heartstrings of some of the biggest bigots the world has ever seen. Maybe it was to hide that his writing is boring in every film he makes, and even more so in bumbled autobiographical piece about a company man?

Watched season 1 of Rising of the shield hero since i read the manga. It's quite good tbh.

There was an arsonist fire today at the Kyoto Animation main building, one of the biggest anime studios.

33 people dead, 36 others with injures. Apparently there were 70 people working there, so that's a huge number.

Guy who did it has been apprehended, supposedly an unhinged weeb that thought the studio plagiarised him (not confirmed)

Crazy. RIP.

What's clear looking at those numbers however, is that there was griss negligence of fire safety protocols at the company/building so they definitely are partly responsible for this tragedy.

Finished second season of OPM

I loved how they focused on other characters this season. Great season overall tbh. Specially the last few episodes.

Also like King. They did well to develop other characters.

Two GOAT scenes from season 2 are when Garo beat those class A jobbers and That final scene involving centipede ffs

Has no one here watched Attack On Titan? Its the most hyped anime in years. Next season will be the final season. The manga is in its final arc too, will end quite close to the anime like Fullmetal Alchemist and Your Lie In April.

I read the manga but sometimes I'll watch some hype scenes from the anime. RG watched the anime back in the day I think. The manga is going to end terribly btw. Probably has the best OST in anime history though.

I read the manga and i'm up to date, i'll be real, the anime makes the manga look much better than it is.

And its the best animated part for me, DP has been top notch, cant wait for DP to animate Stone Ocean

Stone Ocean practically killed JJBA in Japan (but also gave us the best part SBR as a result) it's by far the most panned and disliked JJBA series. I ain't hyped for it at all and I hope they skip it and go straight to SBR.

Its actually not that bad but i can see how frustrating it might be if it had weekly releases.

Part 5 was not that popular in Japan as well, but now look how it drove it to the mainstream spotlight.

Part 7 is one of the best mangas of all time, seriously can't wait for it but its probably 5 years until it gets animated

Part 5 was exceptionally popular in Japan, think it's the most popular part after Part 3

Part 6 literally forced the series the cancel in weekly jump, forgettable cast, arcs that overstay their welcome, like 1 memorable fight in the entire thing ffs, I think they animate it though because it completes the Joestar and Dio arc

Araki orginally pitched part 7 as a brand new series and then bamboozled the editors and made it JJBA early on
