finished another GOAT tier manga this/last week

literally the weirdest thing I've ever read too

for instance the MC develops a habit for eating his own semen at one point and it's shown in graphic detail

(it's a manga that delves into human psychology and societies penchant for materialism and as wtf as the above sounds the reason he does so is explained)

no regrets though, art was amazing too and it was genuinely terrifying at times, quite a refreshing read

Noragami has been excelletent sofar. 4 episodes in and we see Bishamon x Yato and yukine in sekki form gets smashed into 2............. Hopefully we see full rage mode Yato. Making a guess that he'll go rage mode and call Nora like ye good ol days. You watching the 2nd season, RG? Animation has been awesome.

they put bleach on netflix and i have a bit of time so started that and watch 2-3 eps per every other day

First 12 episodes were actually great. mate said that Bleach is amazing for the first 60 eps and after that it's mostly fillers and every arc dragging out.

im 62 episodes into FMA brohood. Still prefer samurai champloo/pyscho pass. But its still a good show.

I think he takes a break every couple of weeks for the sake of his health, not to sure though. Seriously though i hope Sanji's story will be epic.

One would think with developing technologies/aid that Mangakas would cease the sweatshop nature of the job. I mean, surely there's gotta be an alternative to not spending 14-20 hours a day working on a chapter?

some do but it's rare nowadays

yeah they work long hours (but that's Japanese culture in general) but they have a team of assistants helping with drawing and more and from what I know it's a pretty banterous and relaxed atmosphere for the most part (at least from what I've seen, not always going to be the case obviously) although I think that weekly chapters are definitely more stressful

Oda originally took breaks because he had health issues (I think related to smoking) and since OP is so important to the manga industry with it's sales and WSJ (the magazine it's published in) in general they didn't want to risk him burning out and needing to take months off

but that was like 18 months to two years ago and his health is fine now, he's just gotten accustomed to taking time off since his editors gave it to him which is understandable

personally I think he should take a few months off, it's clear that he's losing passion for the series IMO, quality is atrocious nowadays in all aspects, he's just phoning it in

OP has been running for 18 years or so now. He must be running out of passion by now. Agreed about his work deteriorating in every way.

I think he might be thinking about wrapping it all up now. He is a millionaire and doesn't need money. only thing blocking his retirement is the board higher up who wants to rake in the cash.

Even Mashima (fairy tail) is thinking about ending fairy tail despite it selling amazingly well because he has run out of ideas and it's only been 11 years.

Can't wait till I sit down with my kids and watch OP finale episode on my 200 inch 8k TV
