Well, sure. He couldn't have said this two years into his first contract. It needs a build-up. It's something that you begin to notice after three to four years. And clearly he's had his fill with all these changes, and I'm pretty sure our guys feel the same. It's just nobody had the guts to say it out loud.

Lol even in his prime Ronaldo would be so out of place from a fit point of view. The best thing about MSN is how they play together and link up and make runs off the ball FOR one another. It would never actually work from a chemistry point of view just like Ibra didn't.

Doesn't mean he was a bad player because of it though, there's many examples of it too this isn't fantasy land and not all great players from every era could play together successfully.

You're right about him not being as good a fit stylistically. Far too selfish. He fits much better as a player in a team built around him and meant to maximize his effectiveness. Not to say he's not an ATG, because he is, but like you said chemistry is a big part of what makes certain teams tick and the chemistry MSN have works really well for them collectively even though I would say only prime Messi is better than prime Ronaldo -- he just wouldn't be as effective in that set-up and they would have to change the way the team works to get the most out of him.
