Only one of them can stay in front of their guy so why encourage the other team to start using more people on offense and begin to spread the damage across all 5 positions?

If OKC had ANY sense, they would just run pick n roll with anyone because the perimeter defense of the Bulls is shit and Gasol ain't gonna do nothing in the paint so that means someone will rotate over and that = open shots.

There's no balance at all there. If Rose had any sort of defense capability at this moment, then this would be far less of an issue, but he doesn't.

I saw Lin running pick and roll with Zeller the other night ffs. It's that easy to get into the paint against this team because of how unbalanced they play.

They don't seem to be playing to the strengths of their personnel.

Well we agree, i have said before if it was up to me Noah would start and the bench unit offense would run through Gasol.

Also i would bench Brooks entirely and have Hinrich be the PG of the 2nd unit, reason being if they truly want to do this offence properly they need to actually pass and cut. Which is another problem atm, they are not running offense as it's intended. I don't see anywhere enough cuts to the basket and unless that happens it's just gonna bog down to jump shooting offense.

I personally do believe they have the personnel to be a contender, but until they figure the lineups out then they will be pretenders as per usual.
