Di Maria is a very good winger, though. One of the best.

Chelsea fans (including myself) were calling for KDB to be tried as a CM as far back as the start of 2013, Pep isn't anything special for playing him there, he's always had the qualities.

Guardiola has never coached Rakitic, but otherwise a splendid observation. Props also for "dark work", don't know what it is, but I like it.

tbh this might be the first time Free Cat is praising Debruyne so I would take it and run away instead of looking at technicalities.

3 games in and free cat already hyping Pep ludicrously Still remember how according to him Germany won the World Cup because of Pep.

Funny thing is that de Bruyne is actually not looking comfortable at all in his new position and will most certainly be benched or moved to the wing once Gündogan is fit again.

Yea, De Bruyne has been the worst player out of all the forwards since Pep came (the starters). His positioning is off a lot of the times and it forces his teammates to recycle the ball. He doesn't anything like the work Rakitic does because Aguero and Sterling actually run, Messi does whatever the hell he wants. I can't see De Bruyne being a starter.

Sterling and Sane should be the wingers eventually. Nolito is like a jittery Pedro and ruined so many attacking moves, De Bruyne isn't a winger.

You can definitely give a little bit of credit to Pep for Sterling's form since the new season, but I like to wait and see if it will continue. He looks great so far. Pep does it again.

That City's first goal vs. West Ham was total football. With De Bruyne playing a small part while Silva and Nolito played the main part. When Gundogan comes back, I can see a midfield of Gundo - KDB and Silva, no way he will bench the Belgian Rakitic.
