And sorting out the forum search function like futbol mentioned.
Now I don't know how you guys will go about fixing these, and I don't know how hard/time consuming it is but that's why we have specialised tech geeks like you RG.
Can you check on your phone if you can see the pages now? or someone else

Splendid! Yeah the pages are showing at the top of each thread, and it seems to work all well.

The search is just generally completely useless.

Come on now RG matey have you ever used that search when you wanted to look up an old post of yours or of someone else. It gets you nowhere to be honest.

Sorry about that. I didn't know people used mobile version instead of the classic version.
@Search
I normally use google search to find something. I'll see if there is any improvement to the current search.

Search engine issue: I want to search for a topic called 'Jeremy Menez' so i type 'Jeremy' in the search, nothing comes up. It doesn't identify the word in a topic title, it just assumes thats the full topic title

RG you must not have ever used the search function to ask what's wrong with it.
I mean, I think everyone here could very well tell you what's wrong with it, but it's best if you just experience it for yourself. It's actually fun to see what kind of randomness you'll be met with.

I use google search too, as obviously the internal search doesn't work at all except for thread titles.
But, I have a problem with google search now that wasn't there a year ago or so, if I'm not mistaken.
That problem is, I type for example "RealGunner Benzema site:goallegacy.net" into google to find posts made by you containing the word Benzema.
I remember (in this hypothetical example) that post was made in April 2015 so I choose a timeframe of April 2015 for results.
I get all kinds of results showing current threads, probably because the page always displays 'latest threads' and google incorporated this in its search, so I get all kind of results as all of them show "The criminal life of Benzema" as a current thread, even if it's posts from April 2015.
You know what I mean?
Probably I can tweak my google search with some kind of strings and commands which I don't know how.
But how hard can it be to have a working search function internally?
For starters, why isn't it possible to have ALL posts made by a user displayed?
For example I could have all posts made by you displayed, obviously that's thousands but if I knew roughly when someone made the post I'm looking for I could skip through the pages, at least, for lack of a better search.
Not even that is possible, the "show all posts made by.." function on a user's profile only displays the latest couple of weeks/months, not all posts.

Re: Now that our community close knit, we should get the post voting system back
Now that I've started to use mobile version, two more changes will greatly improve browsing on mobile version.
Mainly we should be able to quote posts which there is no feature to do so on mobile version.
Also, any thread with a poll doesn't have the last page button.
Hopefully rg looks into it.
Lot of users browse forums from their phone these days anyways and trust me , an improved mobile version means improved activity.
From my experience, I for example am totally comfortable browsing juventuz forum's mobile version.I think it's extremely convenient to me.But again, I don't know what others think, this is just my view.I don't use my pc or laptop anymore.

can you try now and see if you can quote and edit?
Also I just went on a poll based thread on my phone and could see the page numbers there? I am wondering if it's to do with the browser or phone.
Can anyone else also check on their phones to see please

Sorry about that. I was just assuming people use classic version instead of the mobile one. And some of those updates were not released till 2014 either.
@mole
It was a problem. Should go on any page you want now.
