Tbf most characters look new to me. I guess a lot of W1 and W2 characters will be there

Into my 4th playthrough and i have only just figured out that you can actually do the Novigrad Gangs quest and the Get Junior quest both at the same time without failing the Novigrad Gangs quest. Laughing

Yeah it's possible to do Gangs of Novigrad and Get Junior at the same, i figured out how to do it in my second playthrough.

You need to speak to Cleaver before going to the casino, arena or the hideout, attack the casino together with Cleaver's henchmen, then proceed to attack the arena WITHOUT Cleaver's henchmen otherwise the hidden stash quest gets bugged, return to Cleaver for the reward and finish the Gangs of Novigrad quest, after that check the hideout and Roche.

Basically what Pedram said, you have to do it quickly though. In my experience they don't hang around forever lol.

It's coming in the next patch, which will be released before the expansion next week.

Reason it hasn't been fixed because they have been working on 1.10 update since you completed the game lol, it's quite huge apparently.

Also that Gangs of Novigrad quest isn't bugged, it's just how it works. If you ignore Cleaver's men then the mission is automatically a fail.

Like Pedram said, the Hidden Stash quest gets bugged somehow if you attack the arena with Cleaver's goons.

I did and it didn't.

I did both, went to the Casino first and then the arena with the goons. But you have to be quick as they don't hang outside waiting forever lol and got the hidden stash as well.

The DLC does look pretty good. Will defo get t. What are the chances of price going even lower in December hmm

Hoping for some legit boss fights. My favorite boss fight from the game was by far Imlerith. Giant toad and Beckham look like promising fights so far.

It's £6.79 atm on PSN ( not sure how that translates) according the previews the boss fights are deeper in their mechanics and more difficult.

They also said they had 3 in the first few hours so hopefully there is quite a few in the DLC overall.

Does it look like the expansion is based at a certain time around W3? I mean after W3 wouldn't make any sense. Has to be before or something?

It's during the events.

It can't be before because in the trailer they mention that bloke who you meet in White Orchard.

And i think it happens before you rescue Ciri, technically from what i can gather you accept a contract and leads to the events of the expansion.

Just like say in the main game you are supposed to be trying to rescue Ciri, but there is always things that you do in the day to day life as a Witcher which means you constantly deviating off that path.

That's what has happened here IMO, i don't know obviously but that's the feeling i get of how it starts and obviously it just goes from there.
