It wasn't that Coman wasn't good enough for Juventus, it was that Juventus was not good enough for Coman. Not surprised he's doing well with Bayern

In the words of UEFA "null, void and unenforceable". And that was just on a team having to pay a fee if playing a loanee against the parent team.

UEFA rules forbid a club to "exert, or attempt to exert, any influence whatsoever over the players that another club may (or may not) field in a match".

Those clauses are not enforceable in UEFA competitions.

Courtois played against Chelsea for Atleti in semis 2 years ago even though he had a clause in his contract iirc.

Though they are enforceable in PL. Many a time youngsters who are loaned out have to sit against their parent clubs.

Sure but let's not forget that Coman was introduced late on when Alex Sandro was already tired by going forward and defending against Douglas Costa.

In Germany loaned players always play against their parent clubs. As a matter of fact, for them it is a matter of pride to excel against these to show them it was a mistake to loan them out ^^
