Yep, I think the result would have been different if it wasn't for Shaw's injury. Definitely killed the whole atmosphere.

Well, still waiting for Firmino to have a shot on goal.
He plays under Rodgers. You'll be waiting for a while.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group B
Yea.
As I said in our section. didn't really care about the final result after that. Players state of mind won't be the same after something like that. His leg appeared clearly broken. What a forgettable journey and match.
Anyway GL hats off.
Twats in other forums are wishing all bad things to happen for Shaw now. We indeed are a classy lot.
Anyway feel free to join in our prayers for him mates.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group B
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal: "It is awful.
The boy is in his second season and he has been
playing fantastic. And now this happens. He had the
oxygen mask on and was crying in the dressing
room. You must judge for yourself. If I say it was a
penalty and a red card then I am a bad loser. It was a
very bad tackle."
Out for the season, initial reports.
Feeling sick. I cried actually.

the lad has had no luck at all since he signed for man u. and now this. things can only get better for him now. big miss for man u and a big miss for England. the only good thing is he is young and fit so he should recover from it in no time.Glory wrote:Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal: "It is awful.

Press conference with van Gaal and Schweini
van Gaal telling the press that Utd's 1999 CL final win was not down to quality, but luck

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group B
nervous for tonight
nervous whenever I see Antonio Valencia's name in a lineup tbh
Manchester United Starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Darmian; Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger; Mata, Rooney, Memphis; Martial.
Subs: Romero, Jones, McNair, Pereira, Young, Fellaini, Wilson.
Wolfsburg Starting XI: Benaglio; Trasch, Naldo, Dante, Rodriguez; Guilavogui, Arnold; Caligiuri, Kruse, Draxler; Dost.
Subs: Grun, Bendtner, Schafer, Klose, Schurrle, Jung, Seguin.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group B
And valencia caught in no man's land playing their forward miles onside. Idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!
After that early poor start, we've been the better team and should be leading had Memphis and Rooney found their shooting boots.
Martial, Mata and Bastian have been excellent.

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group B
made it hard for ourselves after the worst possible start
valencia
dominated until the last 15 minutes (when schweini came off) and tbh the scoreline was flattering for Wolfsburg
Martial was great once again, gifted a goal to Rooney who predictably failed

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group B
really have no idea why they wrote him off after like 3 months
always had a tremendous record for CSKA and CL proven
he's only on loan though right? still a chance for him to succeed for Roma

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group B
Wasn't given anywhere near enough time to settle properly with us. Was parachuted in as an emergency solution to a problem he couldn't possibly solve and then was promptly discarded when it didn't go as planned.
Will go down as one of our worst transfers in modern club history unfortunately and it's not even his fault.
I felt bad for him honestly, but having seen him get back to scoring form, I am glad to see him do better. He deserves his form and team that supports him.

De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Lingard, Herrera, Martial, Rooney
Subs: S.Romero, Blind, Darmian, Carrick, Mata, Fellaini, Memphis
expected to rest Darmian tbh
if Rooney can't score against a team that literally leaks goals (haven't kept a CS for something like 18 CL games according to a stat I read earlier) then smh
