Your Starting 11?
Serie A is right around the corner....
How would YOU like to see Juventus line up?
Formation & starting 11!
Feel free to add any transfer targets (but lets keep this reasonable and not place the Pele's, Messi's and Grygera's with Amauri spearheading the attack )
Here is mine:
I think this would be a fun, high tempo playing team. Dybala wouldn't really be an attacking midfielder, as much as he would be playing off of the forwards. 4-1-2-1-2 for the narrow approach of course.
God, trying to line up the midfield just reminded me how our deepest position is really no longer our deepest position

I could see it. Almost makes sense too, lot of money spent between Dybala, Morata and Mandzukic
Zaza as the first option off the bench with Coman to also take minutes isn't bad either

Add Pereyra on the wing and we can rotate them all but I would love it if we could sign trequartista.

4-3-2-1
Prefer Sturaro in that 'Vidal' role over Pereyra.
Buffon
Lichtsteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Evra
Marchisio
Sturaro---Pogba
Dybala---Morata
Mandzukic
Lichtsteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Evra
Marchisio

Same here. Even though I hope we master it.

Re: Your Starting 11?
I swear I tried but it's impossible, I can't get to one.
Too many things still to see that only the pitch can tell.
What I know for sure is that I want this team to play around Pogba, giving him 100% of space and fantasy. All the rest has to be tested on the pitch.

Re: Your Starting 11?
4-3-3 actually makes sense to be honest. It's the only system that can guarantee playing time to our strikers.
In before Morata starts moaning for playing on the wing, just like Cavani at PSG
Look at the roster we have. We can easily switch between 3 formations and still perform at a high level. Versatility has been our strength under Allegri.

I am just going to say this. I expect big things from these guys this season
Many of you may doubt Pereyra but I believe he has that talent to be extra player.

Agreed on Pereyra. His quality is there, his versatility too. Now he also has twice the experience he had when he joined us. I don't know about the first player you posted though as the link doesn't seem to work.

I think I am the only one who isn't that convinced with Sturaro
I guess what I do like about him is his age and work rate, I just need to see more of him I suppose

Re: Your Starting 11?
Actually, not convinced Pereyra can make the step up at CM.
I don't know, the absence of Vidal makes it bit of a lightweight midfield.
Sturaro's physicality and technique impressed me especially when I saw the Napoli and Madrid games.Seems like a two footed player as well.
Imo I see him more of a sure thing than Pereyra if he's given enough opportunities that is.

Re: Your Starting 11?
Yes, Pereyra is softer than Sturaro and as I posted some weeks ago in the General Section, I too see the latter as Vidal's replacement, especially since Khedira seems to be unable to stay fit for more than a day. It's not about who's the best out of the two though, I believe that both will come in handy but in different ways.

As a box to box CM I think Pereyra will be a great player, but time will tell.

Re: Your Starting 11?
with Sandro in do you guys think he'd take a while to bench Uncle Pat or he'd bench him asap? Evra is a better crosser than Sandro though but all round LB Sandro currently rules, though Evra in his prime was 2x the player Sandro "currently" is.

Sandro is among the best LB's in Europe. He was the best tackler from the defenders last season in CL, and top 5 in overall. Depends on the formation and situation but I wouldn't start him right away considering we'll have Dybala, Mandzu starting for us but I'm all up for it.
He will be first choice IMO especially for that sum of money.

Dybala won't play as trequartista. He isn't suited there lol. Hopefully it will be a 352 to play on the safe side.

I agree. No reason to experiment with Dybala for Udinese. I'd also leave Zaza and Coman on the bench in case they are needed if there is an injury or we need to mount an attack late in the match.
I think the 3-5-2 gives us a lot of flexibility if there is an injury at any position. If there is an injury with the back three, that player comes out and they switch to a 4-4-2 by dropping back Licht and Evra. If there is an injury in attack, you still have Coman and Zaza on the bench. With the midfield, you have all kinds of combinations you could try if someone has to come out and the formation could be switched to a 4-3-3 if needed.

Buffon
Licht Barz Bonuc Rugani Evra
Pereyra Sturaro Pogba
Dybala Zook
If we get Sandro wrapped up by then, he can make an appearance. Padoin in for Pereyra if we want more organisation later on.

Yes, very true. The 352 makes our team very flexible.
@Tom:
I think that we will play with Caceres Barzagli and Bonnuci in the back. We will have to wait to see Rugani. He will get a starting spot in the Coppa Italia for sure.

Re: Your Starting 11?
we have dropped some points so I think Juventus should take the game seriously and put the ones with best statistics on starting XI
I don't know which players will do best on the season I just hope these players manage to succeed
-------- Morata ------- Dybala ------------
---------------- Pogba ---------------------
Sandro -- Lemina -- Sturaro --- Cuadrado
--- Cheillini --- Bonnuci -- Caceres ----
----------------- Buffon--------------------
if something goes bad we have experienced back-ups
Mandzukic, Hernanes, Marchisio, Khedira, Evra, Lichtainer,
