I keep using that word, and I think it means what I think it means.
Will you deny that Arsene Wenger's Arsenal bottles it a lot, starting the seasons well and then bottling it midway many times? There even was a graph about it.

Not at all. Chelsea will run away with it again.

Bottling means you come close, oh so close, but ultimately lose and go home with nothing, not even a stack of lousy Encyclopedias. That hasn't been the case for Arsene in the last two seasons

I do think it'll be close between Arsenal, City and Chelsea at the top.
Then I also think that it will be close between United and Liverpool for 4th.
Should be a good season. Mid and lower table teams have become stronger also with some nice signings. The league as a whole will be tougher this year.

Highly debatable.

Indeed. I mean, look at Westham. All these signings and money spent and they nearly went out to Malta's 3rd team and will be eliminated against a Romanian side who has NO single home win this season so far.
The only proper teams outside the top 6 IMO are Swansea and Southampton. The rest are utter wank.

Top 10 are quite strong. After that it's a bit dodgy.
But I still expect teams to be better than last year

Not even sure they are not good tbh, they just get highly rated because they play aesthetically pleasing football.
I don't see anything special about either team, i don't think Spurs are particularly good either. Luckily for them the rest of the league are not good enough so they don't have to improve.

I would like to know what a Cheeky Nando is but I am also afraid I would neither like nor understand the answer.
Only thing I could honestly see it being competitive in is in the amount of ridiculous officiating all sides would receive. The table would probably look similar to last season. And no, Tottenham is gonna have the same season as always.

Ok, then, change bottlers for losers, it's fine to me.

Bottling and fighting with one arm tied behind your back are vastly different things.
Either of them could result in losing.

I can show you posts from March 2013 where people call Bayern eternal bottlers, sri.
Apparently some people's brains can only render reality as tautology, 'who has won is a winner, and that's why they have won'...

Re: Could we see the most competitive title challenge in the PL yet?
I personally called them choke artists for blowing a UCL in their own back yard against a team (vastly) inferior to them. To be fair, other than Hans who is pretty neat, I don't like Bayern all that much so I am quite bias, probably unfairly too.
Anyway, I put some thought on it and maybe, just maybe Arsenal can be a serious title threat later on in the season but history tells me I'm just wasting words on this. Tottenham to finish 7th btw, calling it now.

No idea honestly and believe me Mole, my prediction isn't some sophisticated Redo-esque analysis of transfers and potential form. Just feel they won't do as "well" as last season. Maybe 7th was ridiculous, 6th is probably better.

I think it's possible tbf, the difference between them and the likes of Southampton isn't that large tbh.
