Serie A's hope always was and always will be , Milan . Until the mighty Rossoneri march into the now usurped CL lands Milan left orphaned after our downfall , there will be no hope for stat padding coefficients . When Lazio is your best hope in February , you know the sleeping giant slept too much after years of feast .

The rest Italian clubs may contribute their tiny share here and there , with the odd significant deep run in once in a great while , yet Milan has been historically carrying dat calcio on our backs for decades . Until the Italian hero comes back , there is nothing . No Milan , no 4th place trophy .

Milan being the flagship of calcio for generations and this is what we get in our time of need . Our CL DNA gifted Serie A the coveted 4th place trophy just for others to have fun too and all they could do with it was concede it to Bundesfodder . And then failing to save even some face ; making sure Arsenal keeps winning it every year .

Tell me more how i should support other Serie A teams throughout Europe because coffeecients .

Calcio needs those who were born to win overseas . Those who can handle the wannabes and never were clubs.

Milan will be back to save Calcio .

Europa League is much beneath our stature , yet we are the only ones who can do it.

In all seriousness though, this EL seems of a much higher level than the past. A lot of CL-worthy ties. But games like Villarreal-Napoli, Dortmund-Spurs, United-Liverpool and even Basel-Sevilla so early could kinda kill the competition for the later stages

People are never content, it seems. If you get obvious ties with a big team and an underdog, people call for free draws without seeding, and if there are strong ties early, people complain that the competition will get boring, too...

Lazio vs United/Liverpool... and however far City makes it. I guess that will depend on their draw as well, but they could make it far if they avoid Bayern, Barca or PSG

not every game can be great, and its good to mix it up, but I'd rather have the best ties as the tournament progresses. Hopefully the quality wont decrease as it goes by.
