So what's the rationale behind this?
He is a good player, but he isn't barca quality. Did he join as a depth option and basically replace the Xavi minutes? Specially for 34m euros

The present day version of them buying Eidur, Hleb and Alfonso Perez I guess. Sure he'll play a couple matches.

When Bartomeu said "Barca must buy players to stay ahead of Real Madrid", he wasn't kidding. The Cules have gone berserk on the transfer market since last year. So much for a transfer ban actually hurting the club. What a pointless ban this has been.
By all accounts, it seems Pogba is more likely to end up in Barcelona than in Madrid.
WTF is Florentino doing... Playing Dominoes? Barça steals the treble from us and I would think Uncle Flo would go berserk into signing Galacticos to shift the attention back to Madrid... But still nothing? Just crickets... I'm actually surprised.
Maybe we're witnessing the calm before the storm... I just want to see DE GEA confirmed already and get a good midfielder such as Vidal or Veratti... (seems like Pogba rumors have died off).
As days go by, I feel more anguished. Arda Turan is a wonderful player to have in your team. He offers depths, and is quite a good midfielder. The only signing we will be making will be De Gea and that's not even confirmed for this summer. Why aren't we signing quality players? I understand having depth in our bench but this is no excuse. Vidal or Verratti are the two players we should be gunning for. One or the other is great.
I agree ! At this rate, only Barcelona are being mentioned alongside Veratti & Pogba's names... This is not good! If they land one fine, but both of them??? Why isn't Benzy & Varane convincing Pogba to sign on the dotted line already?
As you said, only De Gea seems to be the signing which is plausible for this off season. Still not certain as Man Utd are giving us a hard time. The other rumor which I like, is the one of Vidal. Getting Vidal would be a HUGE boost in our midfield... But again, this is really just a rumor at this point.
In the meantime, Farçalona are signing some good depth players and are already dealing with the big names agents...
WHERE ARE YOU FLO ???
€34m is a no brainer really.. A quality proven player in La Liga like Rakitic signing the season before. What is Flo playing at!

34m depth signing only in Barcelona. Enrique likes to rotate a lot so that makes a bit of sense though.

Barcaforum not enough to quench your thirst huh. Only now reading the deal is close to 41 million euros. Definitely in the realm of Alfonso Perez signing.

Incentives don't count. It's € 34M now and they get € 30M back if Laporta were to get elected and didn't want him.
Would be funny tbh. He's saying goodbye to his old teammates and his agent is spreading how Barca has always been Arda's #1 dream. Imagine Laporta sending him back to Atletico.
