Arda Turan signs for Atletico

Signs for Atletico Madrid for 12M, he will arrive in spain on thursday and sign a contract for 4 years.
It's unknown if they will still go after Diego after this transfer.
Also pursuing a striker but it's complicated. They inquired for Falcao, and have long been interested in Osvaldo.
They are putting together a very good side.

Adra Turan is a very nice pickup, probably should have left Galatasaray a couple of seasons ago, but I doubt Atletico fans will be complaining much.

You overrate them extremely, granted this is a great signing but this and an unproven belgium gk does'nt excite me. Oh yh they are nowhere near Villarreal or Valencia.

Turan is a great player. He's not an Aguero replacement, though. Atletico still need a striker to be decent.

.attack: forlan, reyes, turan, adrian, salvio, potentially osvaldo
defense: lugano, dominguez, perea, miranda, salvio, felipe.
gk: courtois, joel, asenjo.
imo they have quality players, only the center mid is unreliable, but if they can sign a good DLP and osvaldo, they will pose a lot of troubles.

Why does atletico want so many central midfielders? Mario Suarez, Ruben Perez, Gabi, Thiago, Asunçao, Elia and Arda turan? Or you think Arda will play on the wings?
If they sell Forlan and sign Osvaldo they'll have a good team in my opinion.

On paper I'd say they are better than Villareal. Villareal lacks serious depth
If they some how land Falcao or Osvaldo I would be impressed
