Doors are closing if we are still looking for an AM. I used to think Oscar was the perfect player for us since he is solid in all phases of the game. Not as static as or weak defensively as AMs like Ozil. He hasn't played a big part for Chelsea in a while so I haven't seen him much lately.

Still I'd go for Oscar. Conte almost never plays with AMs and I cant see that changing in Chelsea where they have Hazard and Willian for wingers.

Oscar>Saponara>Isco for me. That just from the ones we are being linked to. Someone like James would be a dream.

Yeah he is gone. If we go back 4 we are good at CB. We'll need 1 more if we keep the back 3 going, which will probably be a significant part of our season.

There were rumours about Tonelli on the cheap. That'd be good. We should definitely not spend a bunch of money on a CB after getting Rugani.

I love Tonelli, I follow him 3 seasons he is really good and imo he has potential for first team starter.

Empoli's president said we were interested, along with Napoli and Roma. Barzagli probably has only 1 more season as a big performer for us. Chiellini, Bonucci, Rugani, Tonelli would be solid.

Empoli are doing good things, just like Sassuolo. Tonelli, Saponara, Zielinski, Paredes, etc. Lots of interesting guys.

I am confident we'll sign one/two of Tonelli, Saponara.

As for Tonelli - Empoli I know I've read it, we have tons of talented players loaned out. I'm sure they want to be Juventus C side since Juventus B = Sassuolo

There are reports in England that Oscar could be axed this summer.

I think if there ever was a time when Oscar could be an option, it will be this summer.

If Pogba and Dybala stay then we need a RB a good CM and see if we can replace Morata with a quality young forward if he leaves.Plus this Tonelli guy is interesting,he could develop to a potential starter in few seasons.

Evra might leave too, I wouldn't sell Padoin he is resourceful for Serie A and can play anywhere. Sturaro has great potential as DM. So Asamoah probably.

Maybe we can return De Ceglie to replace Evra and fit the new regulations for homegrown players,or get a prospect from our Primavera.

I don't see Sturaro becoming a special player tbh,he's technicaly poor for a midfielder,maybe he can adapt as defender idk.However if Asamoah's injuries situation improves he's the one to keep.He can cover both LB and CM/DM positions really well.

As for Padoin,he will likely stay but I would rather give someone like Lemina more chances,who's btw a really versatile player as well.

With Caceres leaving the likes of Tonelli,Glik or Blanchard would be great.
I'm really impressed by Frosinone's Blanchard btw,I guess he'd rather stay in our bench than go back to Serie B.He's similar to Glik,another CB I like for bench options.

Glik wouldn't come to sit on the bench he is a really good CB and he would cost 20m so 20m for back up are big NO.

Padoin is good because he earns 800.000 per year and he never ever said anything about being on the bench plus he is players and fan favorite he is the new Pepe in the dressing room.

I hope you are not serious about PDC ac LB. Imagine Sandro getting injured, PDC against Barca, RM, BM hell no, he is old too and earns to much for his ability. I hope OM buys him because if we exnted him now, he is 29 he will be another Grosso, Iaquinta case.

We are pressing for De Sciglio he had a really good season under Allegri and I know he has the potential, its not like a player forgets to play football in one season. Plus he can play CB, LB, RB plus young plus will earn less then Caceres who is injury prone.

I like Blanchard too, he is a Juventino.

De Sciglio could be a good option,only if Evra leaves.That's the only way he can get enough minutes as Sandro sub.
We are definetly going for a wing back,preferably someone who can cover both wings without a problem,especially we are short on RB with Licht already 32 and Caceres leaving.
I'd like to see our club risk a move for B Peres,I think he's gonna be a best RB.
Selling Licht for Peres and De Sciglio would be really great.

Is getting a RB a priority? It is not absolutely. Licht is solid and we only need a back up over there. Padoin is a good back up IMO. If we get another WC RB he will be benched most of the time. If we are staying with 352, we have cuadrado and licht fighting for that spot.

I think that Marrota will get hold of Cuadrado (He said that). It is more likely that Cuadrado stays IMO.

I think that Marrota will get hold of Cuadrado (He said that). It is more likely that Cuadrado stays IMO.

Next season back 4 and 3 will probably be a significant part of our plans. If thats the case we really need a RB. Padoin cannot be an option anymore. He has looked absolutely terrible this season.

I would go for Tonelli, Mattia De Sciglio and good RB. That would solve our defense for years add to that Mattia can play almost anywhere on in the back 4 he'll be the new and young Italian Caceres. Tonelli has huge potential.

That leaves us with AM/CM and maybe ST if Morata leaves.

Tonelli and De Sciglio would be great. But if we get De Sciglio we wouldn't need another right back. RB is his best and natural position. Litch, De Sciglio, Evra and Sandro are enough.

After Evra leaves then get another veteran to be Sandro's sub.

Hmm I liked him more at LB but ok then that leaves us with LB we need one if Evra leaves.

CM/AM is a must. Lemina has to get more chances he is really really good from what he showed so far so if he plays that way we secured great CM for 9.5 m people called him WC before he joined us.

That would leave us with AM and CB needed to be signed.

De Sciglio is the best option for the RB role IMO, but will he come cheap and stay on the bench as a sub for Licht?
