DI Maria isnt a headless chicken, just as he isnt a very good winger. i doubt he will find a team again that plays him as carlo did in madrid. box to box, that's where he can fully express his talent. as a winger he is a B player

Re: Copa América 2015
yup whether it's why psg or united, playing as left winger, i cant see him return to the form he was in his last 6 months in madrid. he was genuinely one of the 10 best, most game changing players in the world.

Re: Copa América 2015
Surely a lot of teams could use a B2B midfielder in like a 3 man midfield, hell Man Yoo could right now trouble is a lot of teams think he's a winger.

i'm being childish because you don't have any proof to back your claims
and i'm hardly fapping over Ramos far from it lmao and it's nothing compared to the entire madrid fanboy section here drooling over DDG
and there isn't quotes about DDG wanting to leave, but he hasn't signed a new contract so that is at least something to fuel the speculation.
Di Maria has said he will be returning to manchester after copa america, what you got to back them psg claims? nothing but back page bullshit

Re: Copa América 2015
Messi has been pathetic. More lke walkessi. Everytime Argentina have a chance to counter he just walks and they are forced to play the ball back to them. WTF is he doing? Needs to start running into space instead f trying to conserve energy for Pre Season.

Re: Copa América 2015
Argentina have had no attacking impetus since Di Maria went off, they hardly had any to begin with but Lavezzi is doing *bleep* all so far.

Head less chicken has nothing to do with position di Maria play. His decision making has been this shet for ages. Midfield or wing anywhere.

Argentina looked jittery in defense especially in the first few minutes and that worried me and still worries me.
Re: Copa América 2015
alexis still doing those useless dribbles in the middle of the pitch wasting time while the opposing team can organize the defense. i hate it, just move the damn ball and run into space

Just the scoreline I wanted at HT.
Now hope one of the ARG boys score soon, because I don't want the snake to come off the bench to score home the winner.

Everytime they have a break watch, they keep passing backwards because Messi doesn't make the necessary runs to either carry players and stretch Chille or receive the ball in forward space. They need to stop passing to him, he is obviously resting for something.

That simply isn't true though, but keep going lol.
It's obvious his decision making is better centrally because it suits his strengths more. On the wing he just ends up randomly running into nowhere.
Centrally limits that by design because he has more options, he'll still turn the ball over because that's who he is but it happens a lot less.
Besides his ability to drive the ball collapses the entire Chile team on to him, which hasn't happened since he went off. It just makes Argentina easier to defend regardless of whether he's playing well or not.

That's a very good point. One of the best things about him was how he used to drive the team from midfield.

It's basically his best attribute, without it he wouldn't be all that tbh. So naturally anyway you can to maximize that ability then you do it.
Playing him out wide just limits his ability to drive and is a waste of time tbh.

No just a long time Argentina fan. I support two national teams - Argentina and Spain. Besides there's a lot in this for Messi.

That's another very good point which explains why when so many are saying he hasn't been playing well I still think his contribution is very important.
