Does anyone know if there's a way to make flicking the ball forward flicking the right stick like in FIFA? Right now its double tapping the sprint button which is a massive pain.

Yeah you do it by double tapping sprint, if it's too much of a bother you can customize the controls i think.

The heavy editing is becoming a grind. I can do it because the game itself is so great, but the annoying thing is the avoidable stuff.

I've been using transfermarkt.com for a full list of transfers. Just click on league, go to transfer and you'll get the whole list of ingoings and outgoings.

Played my first ML game. Chelsea vs Arsenal in the Community Shield. Managed to grind a 1-0 win but eff me is defending the ball over the top hard work. The amount of times I'm screaming at my keeper to come off his line and get the ball before it drops to the player seven yards out, while he's just standing rooted to his line

Also Chelsea committed more fouls in this game than in about 10 exhbition matches. Ramires in particular was filthy.

Signed Andre Gomes for £10mil and Tolisso for £4mil. I hope all transfers are this cheap.

I managed to get Ter Stegen and he races off his line, also Stones is unbelievable ( i know i said it before but it needs repeating) he's gone up to 83 and first full season isn't even done yet lol. ( in March)

Yeah same here, but its still long.

Its annoying how sometimes to add a player to a team (for example El Shaarawy to Monaco) I need to rid of a player because the squad is full, so then I need to figure out which players have gone....I figure out a player who left (Random Monaco goalie), try and transfer him to the team he supposed to go (random Ligue 2 club) and they also have too many players so then I need to figure out which players of this team have left and to what club

I cant be going through 4 different teams just to add El Shaarawy to Monaco...


Good point about the goalies. Its the only real gamplay aspect which is bugging me. The goalies never come out unless you make them and when they do, unless the get the ball first and are forced to make a save/attempt to smother the ball, they are generally useless.

I couldn't be arsed doing anymore transfers outside of PL and some major CL teams lol.

Took so long just doing PL, so went ahead and started ML with some as is.

Think i only did PSG, Juve, Roma, Bayern, Barca, Atletico and Real outside of PL.

I did the whole PL, Real Madrid, Barca, Atleti, Sevilla, Valencia, Villareal, Juve, Inter, Milan, Roma, PSG, Marseille, Lyon plus a few major transfers like Tevez/Vidal/Coman all leaving Juve and Casillas to Porto. Basically most of the major teams in the CL/EL have up to date squads (or as up to date as I could make them given some players don't exist yet i.e. Konoplyanka). Thought about doing rest then realised I didn't care about who ADO Den Haag had brought and sold.


I probably need to drop my d-line a few notches because teams are just lumping it forward and I'm getting caught out.

Trying to play a pressing game against Benfica was ridiculously hard. They moved the ball so quickly. Maxi Perriera was like prime-Maicon down the right too.

I'm having great fun right now but it is aggravating how every shot from the opposition goes in regardless of which scrub is shooting at the time.

I mostly concede off my own mistakes, usually a misplaced pass from out the back or a failed clearance. Playing on Top Player the moment you mess up the first clearance and the opposition has a sight on goal, you're screwed.

I was 2-0 down to Everton inside 9 minutes that way. Managed to win 3-2. Then dominated Zenit all game but conceded late because I messed up one clearance.

Basically, if Welbeck weren't such a monster I'd be sacked by now.

In quarter finals of Europa League against Vitesse and for some reason i'm really struggling

3-1 down to Vitesse and 1-0 down on the night away from home at half time so i need 3 to go through.

Switch to 343 at half time and end up winning 4-1 on the night and 5-3 on aggregate with two goals in injury time

Haven't had such a satisfying feeling on a football game in god knows how long.
