Ings was apparently signed as 3rd/4th choice.

Every effing summer Liverpool signgs a 3rd-4th choice striker before they address anything else.

2012 - Borini
2013 - Aspas
2014 - Lambert
2015 - Ings

You would think they would learn by now.

Meh, as long as we sign Kovacic I'll consider the summer a relative success. At this point, under Brenda and the current transfer strategy that we have, 1 of every 10 signings coming good is a success for me.

we cant go wrong with ings. if he does well great. good striker on a free. if he don't get to play much we can sell him on and make a bit of money. Thumbs up

Ings wasn't free.

We have to pay Burnley something for him due to his age. Players under the age of 24 cannot move on a bosman in PL. If you wanna go by today's rumors it was apparently 7m :facepalm:

Hopefully Villa stick to their 32m valuation of Benteke because I think we are too cheap to pay that, that goodness.

we will still make money on him. but I think he will make a good squad player as long as we sign a top class striker.

I'd love Ibra at Arsenal, but him going to Milan is not progressive for Milan at all. Not unless they sign another striker after him.

I have a hard time seeing this happen..Cavani wants out, Lavezzi wants out, etc

Will PSG even consider letting him go with the weight of FFP on their shoulders? Possibly, but all 3? I don't think so. Ideally they'd want Cavani/Lavezzi to leave and Ibra to remain, i think

Long term? Yes, but at the moment he's exactly what we need to secure a CL spot, we have to get into the CL if we ever have hopes of attracting better players than we've had in recent years. Additionally, the money from the CL comes a long way to help with FFP stipulations, all in all , i feel like Ibra is necessary

Milan need winners before they start buying players who will be mainstays for years.

If they have the money, this bee sounds like he does i don't see why it matters if they get Ibra for a couple of years and get the winning mentality back and then get younger players.

Would make more sense to keep Lucas in the team and put Di Maria in midfield.

Mainly because Motta is getting old so they'll probably reshape their midfield a bit.

Not that any of these things will happen anyway.
