On the one hand I have proof from a reliable, respected democratic institution of the British press.
On the other I have unsubstantiated claims made by Hans.

You didn't read the twitter handle, apparently.
It's a self-confessed 'parody sensationalism' account.
Both the reliable democatic institution and Hans proving the same thing, really.
Don't think it's ok to have threads like this, really.

Redknapp is having some late-life crisis, earlier this week he was appointed football director at Derby and today he's been appointed the manager of Jordan.

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. III
River Plate honour Torino by adopting club colours
Despite the best efforts of a fans’ group on social media, kit manufacturers Adidas have provided River Plate with a crimson away kit, rather than the iconic maroon of the Granata
Argentinian giants River Plate have unveiled a new first-team training shirt honouring their relationship with Torino, but have been unable to take on the Granata’s distinctive colours for their away kit.
Torino have enjoyed long-held and close relations with the Buenos Aires-based outfit, dating back to a series of friendly matches and fundraising events held by the two clubs in the aftermath of the Superga air disaster in 1949, in which the playing squad of the dominant Grande Torino side were killed.
River will don a maroon training strip courtesy of an initiative started by members and followers of a Facebook group and Twitter account, ‘Unidos por la Historia: River Plate-Torino’.
The members, consisting of fans and shareholders of River, aim to continue increasing ties between Los Millionarios and their Italian counterparts as they hope to use the Granata colours for their official shirt too, according to Toronews.net.
However, a stumbling block has prevented Adidas from providing a kit in the colours of Torino to use in official matches, with the sporting giants currently only supplying kits in crimson as part of a marketing initiative with River.
“Unfortunately, the colour is not maroon,” shareholder and co-founder of the River Museum, Mike Duval claimed. “Adidas has not yet made any mesh of that colour. You can see it is crimson and not maroon.”
The two clubs are not strangers to adopting the colours or designs of each other when unveiling new strips, with River wearing a maroon second kit as recently as 2006.
Torino have a strong presence in South America, with Brazilian champions Corinthians also unveiling a kit in their honour earlier this season.

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. III
Not worth a thread but in curious why there is such a debate regarding calling up Wilshere for the Euros?
I'm skimming the comments on Facebook and people have their own arguments that he should despite 0 PL appearances this season and only 14 last season.

I think they created the stat purely to show why Pep would want to replace Hart at City.

I don't get it, seems like soon people will put Ball playing CB's in to GK's position. Its really really stupid thing they do with the GK. Who cares if he can't pass the ball at the end of the day he needs to defend the goal and save potential goals not to pass the ball. What If you had a GK with great 100% pass rate but can't save shit.
Yeah I know about the rumors but it would be stupid thing to do if you ask me.
(btw I don't get insulted please I am not trying to offend you or aim this at you)

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. III
On the other hand, it comes pretty handy if you have a goalie who can save goals nicely *and* keep possession when he passes the ball properly to his team-mates
