Ødegaard played very well for a youngster getting his debut. Had some good passes and looked comfortable in the last 15 minutes after the first 15 without much confidence.

I'm sure he's well aware of that, as it looked like he played it very safe throughout his time on the pitch. He definitely does have pace, although he may not have shown it tonight.

im not saying he should play every week. ( but it didn't do cesc any harm playing at that age ) I ment. if he was at Liverpool or arsenal. he would progeress into the first team much faster. and playing 15-20 games a season in a first team will do him more good than watching Madrid play from the stands.

didn't cesc play plenty of games for arsenal at 16. but my point was. he needs more games than I think he will get at Madrid. they have some top class players so it will be hard to get any games for the first team.
