Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid

I hope you guys have gotten over your euphoria because here comes one of our 3 big tests of the remaining season. Barca play their bogey team Espanyol away and atleti well who the f cares about them

Benz is out for 2 weeks
Bale is out for 2 weeks
Modric out for 5-6 weeks
Marcelo is back
Coentrao can duly go back to being fake injured
We will probably see Ramos in midfield again
Chica looks to be ok but if he isnt we still have Jese


Time to continue in the same vain with confidence up tenfold after the atleti win

Oh and guys......... its 8 games now though



Real Madrid, believe in better

You are perfectly right it was which is all the more reason not to take this game lightly. Hopefully Ramos is played as a midfielder because lets face it if he is fit he'll always play and from midfield his mistakes won't be as costly

I think having Chica instead of Benz could be a plus in this game because they'll be very fired up and we need an annoying player to run all over their defence disrupting their shape

Honestly I wouldn't put too much weight on our defensive performance until we meet a team that can pass the ball. It was inevitable that Ramos, Pepe and Varane would neutralise Mandzukic and Garcia due to their aerial strength. Atleti never really troubled us. They were happy to sit back and try and steal a goal or go to penalties

Celta is definitely a bigger test, they dominated Barca last time they played although they lost and they troubled us alot at home. I am expecting them to really press our team from the get go which is why I wouldn't be surprised if Carlo started Ramos to get some physical prescence into our midfield. Offensively we might suffer as he isn't really a CM or an overly great passer. For a defender his passing is great but as a midfielder you need alot more than that

We beat Celta comprehensively and I am sold to the idea

I am pretty sure Ramos will start in midfield against both Sevilla and Juve. We need somebody who is calm on the ball against Celta especially with their pressing so Illarra makes sense. But wouldn't at all be surprised if Carlo went all hipster on us and started Khedira

I swear to god this game. Our attackers are flourishing the centre of our midfield is non existent though

Knew Celta were going to be hard to defend against. Glad we got the 3-2 goal, we still need another one to be comfortable

That was disturbing stuff from our defence. Not a single one played well. Carlo had to subb in two extra defenfer like a catenaccio coach because we couldn't keep it together. I am glad thats finally over. Sevilla next week and Valencia the week after are our two last "finals" we are going to need to defend alot better than this if we are to come out with wins against those two
