1:04 - 1:05 minute of this video. Have you guys noticed that subtle acting masterclass from Rose Leslie
Its commendable how much effort she put into this role. Dont think anyone would have specifically instructed her to bring that tiny reaction/lip movement on her face in that scene. Its as natural as anyone can get to acting/reacting. Brilliant.
Anyway this entire small sequence is one of the best moments of the show.
Miss you Leslie

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 5 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
GREAT EPISODE
Finally a sandsnakes scene that was done well. That younger one is my favorite of the 3.
Jaime's scene was meh. Myrcella acting like a true teenage girl.
Tyrion meeting Daenarys Had goosebumps in that scene. She's still holding a grudge against Jorah
HOLLY SHIT, Cersei finally losing at the game of thrones WOW
Sam's sex scene was weird and unnecessary and completely in-erotic I thought. The fight scene was good though, the scene with him getting back up and looking like sam the Slayer before Ghost came in
Reek As if he was gonna betrayer Master Ramsay.
Just have to take the books and the show as completely separate entities, otherwise I won't be able to enjoy the show much. But really good episode.

One thing I think I dislike about this whole situation with Cersei's and with the Tyrells capitulation is that all of it is being brought upon them by some newbie pleb "do good" priest who's been in like 2 episodes. Doesn't give us any sort of redemption I feel.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 5 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Theon
damn ! And I was there thinking in the last scene of the last episode he had reached the breaking point and that scene was specifically done for that purpose in order to help him finally make his transition from Reek to Theon.
If he cant change even after such a powerful and momentous scene then, well...
The hope that Theon will be the player of that arc and Sansa a pawn has took a shot with this episode. It seems the writers do want to make sure it is Sansa who is going to bring about the change and not theon which is actually going to be a shame after all what happened. Now I hate the rape scene even more.
Okay, apart from that its been a much much better episode . But still had its flaws.
Lol and I know why they introduced that antidote part. Even for their poor standards this season, killing Bronn off at the hands of those shites, would have been too much, the world would have never forgiven them if they had done that. Glad they didnt pull the trigger this time for a change.
Agree it was a better Sand snake scene though, and she was vastly better the youngest one. But I think They could have avoided that scene, ultimately it was however we try to put it, a pointless scene. Instead they could have given that screen time to Stannis and his party. Need to give us that feeling its going to be a proper war at Winterfell (provided it is). Need to gradually build along for that imo. . Hope they will show more of it in the next episode, i mean their struggle and their march braving the odds.
Gilly-Sam make out sequence was long coming tbf.
Going to miss Maester Aemon btw. Another good character died.
Danny-Tyrion meeting
High sparrow - Olena meeting

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 5 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Tommen left alone to govern Kings Landing.
Now would've been the perfect time to attack KL but all the other kings and queens are busy with their own shit.
Good to see Cersei getting a taste of her own medicine, but I agree with the two above about how this was all because of Lancel. You guys already know that I don't like the whole Seven/High Sparrow arc, but yeah it is what it is.
Agree on Dorne, much more interesting scene and that Sand Snake, holllllllllllly shhhit if I could touch, I would.
But lol on poisoning someone and then saving him, that just doesn't make sense from the Sand Snakes' pov, but I am happy because it would've been shit if Bronn went that way.
Jaime - Myrcella scene was lolworthy and needless.
Samwell standing up for his manhood: "What kind of a man would I be if I ran away when someone tries to hurt you?"
at "Oh.. oh, my"
More build up towards Stannis vs the Boltons. Pls Stannis don't sacrifice Shireen
Melisandre is proper c*nt!
Sansa bringing up Roose's due child again, smh she doesn't learn. Reek gonna Reek, and Ramsay was BOSS as ever,
"You should hold on to your candles, the nights are so long now" favourite line of the episode.
And why do I get the feeling something bad is going to happen to Jon on his Hardhome journey.

Finally a good sand snake/dorne scene. Would smash that young sand snake ffs.
Sam's sex scene was hilarious. Reminded me of McLovin with his famous 'it's in!'
Brother Lancel destroying the 2 most powerful houses
Can't wait for Stannis vs the Boltons

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 5 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Damn that was an AMAZING episode... unsurprisingly since D&D are back writing episodes and will for the rest of the season.
"This is the time and I will risk everything" Stannis remains stubborn but he really needs to seperate his daughter from Melisandre/Selyse, those bitches be crazy. Melisandre said she saw herself in the battlements in Winterfell but she didn't say anything about Stannis *gulp*. His odds are decreasing everyday with winter coming, with him trapped in the snow and sellswords leaving.
On the other hand Ramsay keeps shitting on "The North Remembers" crap. Reek you piece of shit... another innocent dies because of him, he better get his shit together.
Best scene: I can't decide but the Jorah/Tyrion/Daenerys meeting for me
- Prior to that, I lol'd at Mr Eko lying about Jorah's achievements to get a higher price.
- The irony of Jorah the slaver becoming a slave
- Tyrion convincing the slave master to buy him too
- Jorah being a badass in the fighting pit
- "I am the gift. I am Tyrion Lannister"
Best major character: High Sparrow
- Was magnificient in this episode
- His interactions with Olenna Tyrell and Cersei Lannister
- "You are the few and we are the many"
Best minor character: Maester Aemon again
- "He was the blood of the dragon and now his fire's gone out"
- "Egg, I dreamed I was old" omggg
- Sam protecting Gilly was sweet and Ghost but they need to get the *bleep* outta there somehow
Also Dorne was much better this time, the difference between a Lannister prisoner and an upjumped sellsword was telling. Bronn getting saved is good news but what if that "antidote" was actual poison? That would be messed up. And the Sand Snakes have a personality!!! Tyene seems to be a seductress, while Obara is hot headed (the one who shouts her name all the time), what about the 3rd one? I liked Obara and Nym rolling their eyes at Tyene, you can tell it's not the first time Tyene tried that
Very good episode, all hail D&D

This. Sure the entire slaver- slave- fighting pit sequence was put up for mainly this. Well thought out idea by the writers.

+1, agreed on everything
-Finally a great scene with the Sandsnakes
-Tyrion-Dany duo should be enticing stuff
-Despite the fact that i loved the fact that Cerci got put down, i don't like how the High Septon thinks he's the shit now. Hope Littlefinger sits this fool down.
-I'm worried about Stannis, he's caught between a rock and a hard place. I can't see him penetrating Winterfell with sellswords leaving everyday.
-So...Looks like they've taken the damsel in distress route with Sansa. Not very fond of this route.
-Its evident that Gilly and Sam can't stay at Castle Black anymore. I wonder where they they'll go? It seems Winter has hit, and there's going to be an impending war down North, and the WW are marching as well. There doesn't seem to be any safe place at Westeros atm.
Great episdoe 8.5/10

As if I was gonna abandon this show now ffs
Good episode.
Theon Although I do think he has a bigger plan. That or Stannis is saving Sansa. Or Asha is saving both. Can't see Sansa staying captive for long. But then it's D&D and few more episodes of sadism will surely make them happy
Strange seeing Tyrion and Daenerys meet. Interesting to see what happens now. He is surely going to take Baristan's role of being the chief adviser. But Jorah? Maybe Tyrion will ask for his forgiveness.
Was good seeing Maergery in prison Stay there pls
Best scene was definitely the end bit. Cersei's acting is incredible
I really hope she kills those silent sisters at some point. Team Cersei
Also Lancel pls go.
Sam's sex scene was awful. But Ghost Sam still has a friend Unless Jon warged into him
Thought Stannis' dialogues were shit and generic.
Maester Aemon That line "Egg, I dreamt I was old" is probably one of my favourite lines in the books. It's incredibly sad. Shame he never got to meet Daenerys

They made some heavy Jon Snow references to being a half Targaryen a couple episodes ago. Bull full-blood atleast. Probably just another red-herring though
