We have people to score goals, we need someone to stop opposing attacks apart from Marchisio.
Marchisio is tired.

Why did Tevez take the penalty? Is it so it can help him be the top scorer in Serie A, or is it because Vidal missed two this season? Also Devi, I want Vidal to defend and score.

Vidal is doing very well defensively. I watched Dortmund's match yesterday again just to look at vidal's performance... And he was simply amazing in the RCM role in the 4312, stopping almost every attack on that side. When we switched to 352, vidal moved to the left and pereyra to the right. I didn't see vidal much on the left, but he is amazing defensively. Attacking wise, I don't see much from him as before.

Chiellini: 'Tevez is transformed'
Giorgio Chiellini said Carlos Tevez is “transformed on match day” after Juventus saw off Genoa 1-0.
“Our energy was running low after the last two to three weeks of very intense matches,” the defender told Sky Sport Italia.
Tevez scored a stunning goal in the first half, then his penalty was parried by Eugenio Lamanna.
“We knew we’d suffer against an intense Genoa side that presses you all over the field, but we didn’t concede much in the end.
“Plus we have players of such quality in attack and Tevez again showed how decisive he is. He has been important since his first day, not just with words, but with his attitude on the pitch.
“On match day he is transformed, working so hard not only going forward, but also helping out at the back.
“Against Palermo and today we saw a Juve side that might not have been sparkling, but was tough and knew how to win.”
Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci had quite a few clashes with Marco Borriello in the second half, their former Juventus teammate now back at Genoa.
“We’re good friends and have known each other since the youth teams, but on the field our physicality is important and so it’s normal we will give each other a good hammering. I’m glad he’s back to playing regularly.”

Allegri: 'Juve haven't won yet'
Max Allegri warned Juventus “haven’t won anything yet” after beating Genoa to go 17 points clear of Roma.
This was their third consecutive 1-0 Serie A victory, a result the Coach had said was his favourite because it didn’t allow his team to relax.
“The lads and club deserve the credit for what they are doing this season,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s an intriguing end to the campaign and we hope to achieve as many objectives as possible. You never know in football.”
Roma visit Cesena this evening and anything less than a victory will see Juve extend their advantage.
“If we are able to get full points in the next two games, then we’d have a pretty strong lead. However, as things stand we haven’t won anything yet and still have to play in the Champions League and Coppa Italia.”
Andrea Barzagli performed a decisive intervention late on against Genoa and has truly found his form after eight months out injured.
“We’ve got an important and extraordinary defender back. With him we can play with three or four at the back, plus can afford to rest someone like Leo Bonucci who has played non-stop.
“We are still in three tournaments, so it’s crucial to have different options and tactical variations at our disposal.”
Carlos Tevez smashed his strike in off the underside of the bar, but also saw a penalty saved by Eugenio Lamanna.
“Today he scored an extraordinary goal, suited to his remarkable season. He has great technique, I leave him free to move around a bit more and I think that’s important for him.
“You can tell a champion by the way he moves and shakes off the marking, even without having to run that much.”
This run of results was achieved without injured Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo, so is anyone indispensible at Juve?
“There are players who are perhaps more first choice than others, but everyone has made their contribution. If you are without three or four players, you can’t just sit there and cry, you have to pick 11 to start and make do.”
Juventus go into the break for international duty and can prepare their dossier on Monaco.
“When you reach the Champions League quarter-finals, you need the belief that you can fight it out with everyone.
“At the draw people said we were lucky, but seeing as Juventus had a good group and Round of 16, I think the other teams should’ve been worried at the prospect of facing us.
“Monaco are a very under-estimated squad in my view. They have some excellent counter-attack specialists and we’ll see a very different match to the one we had against Borussia Dortmund.”

I am liking Allegri but his unwillingness to play Coman in games like these, starting Llorente subbing in the scrub Matri who is/will be of no use to us sooner than later is disturbing, we should be offering matches like these to Coman to gain experience and gain confidence,
and to think he left PSG where he featured far more than we promised him is really sad....

Because so far he has only shown glimpse of skill nothing else, he loses the ball to easily and is bullied off the ball. He almost costed us a goal against Dortmund when he gifted the ball to Reus in the dying minutes and they created counter attack. He is not yet up to the task for being a Juve player or rotational player when our team has lead like 1-0.
You can and you will say 'Better him than Matri' but yet again read what I underline and you'll realize why Matri is by far better option in 1-0, 2-1 leads.

Re: - | Juventus Match Hub | - Serie A & Coppa - |
He's a liability, not everybody can do a Pogba. Plus even if Pogba wasn't as technically sound as he was in his late teens he was still physically superior to like 85% of footballers so he would never get bullied about.
Coman at this stage in his career will be improving a lot just by training with a top class team every Week
I'd imagine his development plan will go something like
Year 1: Training and the odd sub app
Year 2: Unless he shows great ability in the Summer, Loan him out
Year 3: Loan again unless he has a great season
Year 4: Final loan if he doesn't impress too much
Year 5: Crunch time, sell or use.
