Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Oscar Isaac is a goat actor.
A Most Violent Year 8/10.
More for a mature audience and a bit of a slow burn but worth watching just for Oscar Isaac's gangster vibe. Definitely not for everyone. But I enjoyed it. Great cast and great dialogue. Jessica Chastain David Oyelowo

Voted 10 just for the heck of it.
Just watched Haywire. Really really liked it, straight up action thriller with focus on fighting. First time I've ever believed a woman could kill the men she fights against.
Carano ffs Gorgeous woman.

elitedam have you seen Eyes Wide Shut?
In my opinion nothing comes close to that in terms of Cruise acting, well except Collateral

Cruise's best role that I've seen is still by far his role in Magnolia.
Favourite of his movies is still Top Gun though

Typical Kubrick film
Long takes and artistic, with lots of themes encapsulating human behavior.
Plot wise, it is about a man who hears his wife confess how she fantasises about sleeping with another man, then the man embarks on a mysterious night filled with temptations and did I say mystique?!

He was just over the top arrogant in that, in other words, Robert Downey JR
It isn't quite that difficult to portray someone who is overly cocky imo.
Not sure if I have seen Top Gun tho

For some reason I watched The Purge movies.
First one was garbage but second one was far better.Kept me interested, not something I'd re-watch though.

Pls,the closest you've ever been to women taming was when Suarez was being punished for biting.

Yeah, the second Purge wasn't too bad. It was what the first one should have been.

Anybody watched I Origins ?
Liked it a lot. Michael Cahill the director keeps on amazing.
More and more people should see it. One of the best films of the recent times I think it is. Every scene speaks to the audience. Its evident theres immense hard work done.
A modern masterpiece. 9+ out of 10.
