I am. I had them going to the WCF again, but what I'm seeing is very odd.

They are a different animal in the playoffs, but they haven't shown any type of rhythm or sustained consistency so far.
Parker has looked Meh.
Ginobili has regressed (again).
Kawhi has had injuries, but I was expecting more this season.
The bench production isn't what I thought it would be.

Should this be taken seriously, or will all be fine come playoff time?

Yeah but they'd prob want OKC out if they meet Memphis. The way OKC is playing right now, only Memphis from the west can beat them if I were to bet on it.

Doubt Spurs are losing on purpose though. Or that Pop is making them less competitive.

I actually looked at the other way round, they are trying to get Memphis.

They know they have their number.

Parker isnt healthy and like Pop said, without him they arent going anywhere. In the end, I think that is the most important thing about the outlook of the team.

I didnt expect Leonard to put up great numbers, especially not with the hand and eye injuries. It's just not going to happen in the Spur's offence when you also have Duncan, Parker and Ginobli. His 15 a game is really 20 a game in other situations.

I dont think they will magically be fine come play off time, but if Parker is actually healthy I think they can get close to last years level again.

Leonard was putting up 18 and 9 with great D before this shooting slump. That's all it is really.

Injuries hampered him early on and his shot hasn't been falling recently but he's had some great stretches in between that, a very stop start season for him but he'll come around.

Anyway I don’t really get worried about the Spurs until they go down in a playoff series, they have earned that respect.

I'm sorry but no, he took himself out of the running with his performances before he took a break, don't get me wrong he's been nothing short of brilliant since returning but you cannot ignore the body of work on display from Curry and Harden.

Westbrook is in the same position, they just haven't been as constantly brilliant as Curry and Harden have. Before you say it, has absolutely nothing to do with wanting someone different like the media like to claim he just hasn't been as consistently good as Curry or Harden.

He wasn't crap for 3 months, he just wasn't at his previous level.

He was playing and putting up numbers like Curry and Harden. It's just that, it's LeBron, you expect more.

He's not competing against those guys anyway. He's competing against his past self. He was never an MVP candidate to me this season anyway.

Ok not crap but nowhere near the level expected and certainly nowhere near the level Curry or Harden was and have been showing.

Also it wasn't just the numbers it was in general performance, Curry and Harden's numbers don't come close to explaining how great they have been. Yes we expect more of him but it's not just that he just flat out wasn't better than them(and he wasn't even close) until his break.

As I said he's been brilliant since return and the only one who can even argued to have performed better is Westbrook. But like Lebron I don't consider Westbrook to be realistic either because Curry and Harden have been doing this all season and not 6 weeks.
