Tevez finally shines in CL this season under the obvious influence of Mourinho.

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
Tevez this season has been one of the very best strikers, case closed really.
Cavani, Falcao, Aguero, Ibra etc etc were all rated above him in the past few years
They've dropped off and he's went from strength to strength so yeah this season he's been an elite striker for us. Why people always feel the need to look at a player over the last 5,000 games and not just admit in the recent past and present he's been great is beyond me.

Lol...
Check this guy out...
Tevez score more goals this season than Rooney, RVP & Falcao put together
He's a Madrid/Palace fan besides he does this in Serie A, his goal return in England was significantly lower.
Funny...i thought the serie a was defensive...
meaning teams are more likely to park the bus which would equal them conceding less goals...
silly me

just trying to point out that a "non world'class" strike as u describe Tevez is having a better season than Man Utd WORLD CLASS STRIKERS!...
Did I say any of the Man Utd strikers were World Class?
I'm sorry, but finally doing it on the big stage for one season doesn't equal World Class for me.............
......................Going by this logic Mario Gomez was also World Class...

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
So much hate towards the dark horse of the champions league, Looooool. If Juventus lost, there would've been a load of horse crap piling up on Serie A. Now, it was expected for us to win, since Borussia sucks now (just 8 or 9 off cl places). What about Liverpool? Arsenal? Chelsea? ManCity? What about the fact we didnt have our starting XI or had to chance tactics completely?
The fact of the matter is that Juventus are a formidable team, which I only see Bayern being able to beat them easily. All the other teams would be an even match.
The winner of the night is Allegri. DAT TACTICS THO!
Keep on hatin'

So based on ur logic.....Tevez is NOT world class because he is only having 1 good season...
While Falcao is NOT world classed because he is having one bad season...
good logic my friend...

Next time we progress over the 10th of Serie A I'll also go around telling Bundesliga haterz to shut up and proclaiming how sky is the limit.
- Spoiler:
- We would not progress over current Serie A 10th though. Pippo

Re: CL Round 16: Dortmund x Juventus
What a performance lol
Like I said early in this thread, Allegri is fantastic in Europe. Juve with that masterclass away performance.
Hopefully Juve can Monaco and ruin them as well.
Forza Juve. Forza Allegri

What is this Serie zZZzzZ vs. Bundeslol catfight that my eyes are seeing? Stand up and salute to the only relevant league in world football.
Serie zZZzzz: 1 quarter finalist.
Bundeslol: 1 quarter finalist.
GOAT Liga: 3 quarter finalits.

My point would be.. why attach attributes to individuals in a static way, independent from performances?
If a player performs better than another player, he's better, at least temporary.
If a player has one world class season and then plays 10th division level for 12 years, he still was world class for a year.

Wouldnt you be sceptical if Luis Enrique would join Real Madrid? Bow down? Looooool? We will see who will bow down when we win the Champions League . The fox sports commentators were talking how Juve have all the means to actually win it with a bit of luck, but of course, the sports extraordinaire that are on this site would surely disagree, with all their degrees and experience in football.

Well, I judge for consistency over seasons, not one.
Could make the case for Harry Kane then..... having a better season than a lot of these strikers isn't he?

Well sure it's better to be world class over 5 years than over 5 months.
No debate there.
