This is a tough one. If the Atletico forwards have a good day, they can go through.

It's fate that we play as many Spanish teams as possible every year. Sevilla, Barca, Madrid, Barca, Madrid, Valencia and now Atletico in the last 3 seasons.
We got this

Unfortunately for Juventus, Atleti is a second half team... because Griezmann usually kills it after slow starts. Too close to call imo.

Re: Round of 16 - Atletico Madrid vs Juventus
Juve bought Ronaldo to win the CL only to get eliminated in the first knockout round, what a story this could be

Re: Round of 16 - Atletico Madrid vs Juventus
Atletico always hits top form in the 2nd half of the season under Simeone when the CL knockouts begin, and they are a team built for cup competitions, also the final is at their stadium so they will be extra motivated.
Simeone already reached 2 CL finals and some semi's with worse teams than this, so I don't see the reason why not again.

This match gonna have 2 shots in total and 35 yellow cards. Probably gonna be like Atletico vs Mourinho's Chelsea that happened like 5 years ago.

Juventus is always slow to start and hits its stride in the second half of the season. Usually they don't lead Serie A in the first half of the season. They have this season, and how.

Leading Serie A where the 3rd placed team can't beat PSV to save their lives and the 2nd placed team is in Europa. lol

Re: Round of 16 - Atletico Madrid vs Juventus
Atletico have this.
Juventus have a magnificent squad yet are just lacking any sort of balance and in key points, cohesion.
Allegri is a fantastic tactician yet once again he is at that point of the season where he has such doubt over his own ideas that it is holding the team back and has been shown to be the case at the latter stages of the first half of the season.
Too many times he will change a formation before and or during the game to completely throw of the balance of the game.
Unless they can find that cohesion then a far more in-tune Atletico will go through.
When Costa and Bernadeschi play on either wing they look far better as the latter adds far more to the team than most anticipate and Cristiano loves playing with Fede.
Otherwise too predictable the front line can be and the unnecessary amount of early crosses destroys what they built.
Cristiano to be the difference here otherwise nil.

Re: Round of 16 - Atletico Madrid vs Juventus
Every season we start slow, every season we hear this nonsense, every season we prove it wrong. This one our slow start means a historical high in the league and winning our CL group.
Looking forward to it once again.

Juve are the favourites to lift the trophy. I am glad they got Atleti. Probably thr only team in CL that can help us knock out our rivals. Hala Atleti

Atleti got this.
I haven't idea when I will get over disapointment for that bottle job against PSV , not even cared for that EL draw
Anyway the CL winner comes from this match.
I feel sure on It.
So Juve or Atletico.
Sadly Juve will get this.

How so? I mean, I totally understand why many think Juve has got a chance, but why is everybody squeezing Atlético into the picture? What did they do? I mean, aside from getting their asses handed to them by Dortmund.

Re: Round of 16 - Atletico Madrid vs Juventus
Not sure if this is 2018 Atletico tie thread or the 2017 Tottenham thread
The only thing that’s changed is the band of Real fans so desperate to see Juventus lose because of Cristiano that they have to boost about Atlético lmao
Ooof
