Key player . IF we ever going to be a serious team , he has everything to become a Serie A star player . Really happy with Destro , even though i am extremelly worried he will find it difficult if Inzaghi doesn't help him , he will suffer like Torres and even Pazzini .

I am mainly concerned with how things will work out with him and Menez up front . It seems to me that having an attacking midfielder like Honda playing behind Destro would suit everyone far better , than having Menez being free to roam as he pleases and when he pleases .. What happens when he doesn't ? A gaping hole in the central midfield and long balls and terrible mismanaged play , that's what will be happening. But yeah , aside the fact Menez ain't going to play anywhere else , Honda is cursed never to play in his favourite position in Milan .

But anyway , for the moment , i am willing to see how it goes , maybe the more suited for counter attacking 4-4-2* play gives Menez a boost . Because with Menez's procrastinating , selfish ways and below average passing range , all that are major flaws for me to be optimistic with these two getting along well . Menez will naturally be spending some of his time behind Destro now , aside from being a second striker he will have to transist between it and clear AMF to cover the space and help his midfielders , who are particularly deep-minded players and WILL be pressed a lot . He also has to provide for Destro , literaly assist him before going himself for the goal.

We will have serious issues if he isn't doing it right . I hope for Destro's and everyone's sake Menez is going to apply himself on the task , elsewise we know that Inzaghi will never bench his love-child , no matter what and we will just have to live with this. Let's hope Menez becomes a team player , basically , it's not up to him to be the top scorer any longer.

He's going to wear the No. 9 shirt, it'll be tough for him to live up to the standards set by the likes of Torres and Matri but hopefully he will be determined enough to carry the shirt

i would say he is a starter for sure. whether he is a star player or key player, that remains to be seen.

but he is better than pazzini or menez (when it comes to finishing) so its good signing.

but i am desperately hoping for midfield signing ... really im done with montolivo. destro needs to be fed with assists, and montolivo has not even been able to register 15 assist in all of his milan games...

Not a bad signing at all, tbh. Really hope he pans out. His price is 17m right?
