Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
So I think we've actually found a role for him in this team. He's our game changer off the bench. He's had 3 subs appearances in the last 3 wins and all fruitful (scoring 2 winners and providing one winning assist).

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Can we at this point safely say that he has been the biggest fraud in a long time?
I mean even Torres was more useful at Chelsea and at least had a 2 year prime.
Balotelli will be compared to the likes of Aliadiere and Kevin Kuranyi in few years.
Apparently being offered a move to some Qatari club managed by Zola. No one else wants him and even the likes of Fiorentina have rejected him.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Fraud
A false representation of a matter of fact—whether by words or by conduct, by false or misleading allegations, or by concealment of what should have been disclosed—that deceives and is intended to deceive another so that the individual will act upon it to her or his legal injury.
Don't think fraud applies to Balotelli. He's never falsely represented his mentality to be anything else but poor. He's always been honest. Joke's on the clubs who buy him and expect him to suddenly become a serious, hard-working elite player out of the blue. The forum's leading psychoanalyst Hapless_Hänschen_Klein can surely confirm that the buying clubs suffer from narcissistic personality disorder symptoms. They believe they are much better and above the previous clubs that have failed with Balotelli and that it'll be different once he joins them.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
When did Hans become the forum's leading psychoanalyst? I need to spend fewer Friday nights drinking with friends and more on Goal Legacy so I don't miss out on developments like this. GL is life, GL is bliss.
Anyway, about Balotelli, he was used wrong by Rodgers last season. He should be played behind the striker. But we have so many guys for that role now (Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana) that I'm afraid there's no future for Mario at Liverpool. Not that Rodgers would realize anyway how to get the best out of Mario.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Balotelli would do well at Bayern. He needs to play with world class players who will do most of the winning for him and let him just come up with moments of brilliance here and there off the bench.
He's not the sort of player that will be part of a winning starting XI. He can be a difference maker as a last resort of the bench when there's no hope left, when shooting from 50 yards might just be ideal rather than hoofing and poofing.
Please sign him.

You don't really believe what you said. Do you? Seems that no Liverpool fan wants him anymore at the club.
Balotelli and Guardiola wouldn't have a good coach-player relationship and also Balo wouldn't accept to be a reserve. In my opinion, what you said it's an interesting view about Bayern could use right now, but Balo isn't the right player to sign.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Is it true he scored 3 minutes into his Milan debut?
Is it also true he's been first to training and last to leave?
I wonder how long this will last.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Meh. Wish him all the best.
Would of rathered he stayed and given a proper chance under a real manager because he actually DID try to commit to Liverpool despite what ignorant fans say. Let them believe whatever "PR" this club tries to leak out using the Echo. Or believe that Rodgers is the new Shankly or whatever the *bleep* they keep going on about. Is it still our year? Or has that ship sailed earlier this year? I don't know.

I can't believe we still talk about this guy.
He sucks. Complete joke of a player who's bullshit is more talked about than his actual production.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
And he hasnt played worse football than in these last 2 quite off field years. Strangely enough.
Liverpool was such a bad move for him looking at it. BR had no interest in helping him, much preferred him being a scape goat of sorts.
Balotelli is one of the few players you can you speak bad about in public (key point) and nobody will really accuse you of doing something wrong. Which I think he took advantage of.
And on the field, he totally played to all of Balo's negatives. He doesnt have great off ball movement and doesnt lead the line very well. So he plays him up front alone most of the time. Almost destiny to fail in this situation when you add in Balotelli's general loss of form and perhaps the first time I ever seen him lacking confidence.

Eh? His last season at Liverpool is one where you can say he actually cut back down greatly on his antics. He just wasn't wanted by Rodgers & Sturridge's injury killed his progress & raised expectations from the start.izzy wrote:I can't believe we still talk about this guy.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Yeah Rodgers was definitely horrible for Balotelli.
It's quite clearly documented that Rodgers wanted nothing to do with Balotelli but the committee forced his hand in either having Mario or no one.
But Balotelli isn't quite blameless either. The guy sucked major balls most of the time he played. Missed some unbelievable tap ins. Would take outrageous shots from stupid places. Was getting in fights with Sturridge etc over penalties. Gave Rodgers an easy scapegoat to blame the season on.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
One hell of a talent but his brain can't keep up with his natural gifts. Imagine someone Diego Costa having this guy's talent, he would be a Balon D'or contender. Similar to one of my favorite players, Pato, who I thought would become the best striker in the world 5-6-7 years ago never realised his unbelievable potential, yet so different, since for the Brazilian his glass body was the reason.
