Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
so what ? we've always seen this Balotelli in these years.
Beginning very good, and great free kicker. (even in his bad last period with Milan was this , but then he made nothing during 90 minutes)
The problem is on long term , on and off pitch. We'll see now.

Balotelli: ''Defenders provoke me? Either they get a yellow card or my leg, but they’re not going to get the ball.''
Was fouled 9 times today. 5 of those fouls saw an Udinese player get booked.

I agree, with Balotelli there is always that feeling of unpredictability.
However, he is playing really well and his mentality is there and that's really the only thing worth focusing on but he's always a risk. I hope he continues to do well, but he is too much like Cassano, it's a matter of time...

Kind of hypocritical of him since he was losing the ball more than anyone with Liverpool.

Jelly?
I'm happy he's doing well so we can command a higher fee for his ass. Don't EVER want to see him play for Liverpool again. Worst forward we've had EVER maybe his own fault, maybe not. But it doesn't change the fact that even Lambert did more than him last season.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Balotelli is a great striker if you utilize him well. It's only Liverpool's fault they didn't know how to use him properly. Or maybe it's that thing which some players have that they only perform in certain leauges (Soldado in Spain e.g.).

Balotelli is not a great striker by any means.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
He's not elite but when you look at some strikers in top flight clubs it makes you wonder. I'd definitely have him instead of Giroud as an Arsenal fan.... hell, I'd have him instead of Costa at Chelsea even.
Maybe it's only me.

his ceiling is limitless. if he got his head out of his ass he would wipe out any so called world class striker today.

Yea if Cassano cared about football, he would have surpassed Totti and ADP

What do you mean with " great striker " ?
Atm his career says his best dimension is the 12nd man , ( comparable with Sixth Man in basket ) , his best years were in Inter and City when he was this
Who tried to build a team around him , it drowned ( the last man was Prandelli wth Italy)
Probably even Mihajlovic knows it, considering atm he is Luiz Adriano's backup

atm he is very overhyped in Italy ( not a new thing though )
the leit motiv is " Balotelli is really changed, Balotelli is matured, Balotelli is a different thing now etc
The hype is so strong that Gazzetta's site wrote an article about Ben Arfa ( he's being legit in Nice ) , calling him the " Balotelli of France He has got his head together Too " .
Anyway , it's a consequence of Italy being scrub now and so we're obliged to cling onto desperately to him because the others are Immobile,Zaza,Pellè etc

as usual a very deep and logical analysis by Robes. Jst hope it is not affected by fact Balo plays for their fiercest rivalRobespierre wrote:Luca wrote:Robespierre wrote:so what ? we've always seen this Balotelli in these years.
