Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
2-2 so far , extra time , 105
Napoli is robbing Udinese but so far it is not enough to prevail on them.
The penalty kick for Napoli was invented , also the red card. although this Udinese played well in this first half of extra time but Hamsik scored. Hamsik again to score is surely the most beautiful news for Napoli , considering his ugly moment
when the match looked like finished , Udinese ties with Kone.
Panagiotis Kone is absolutely a curse for Napoli , 90% of his goals are against them I think.
Udinese will try to defend the result for penalty kicks, we'll see.
Great match well prepared by Stramaccioni ( in this case credit to him ) anyway.

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
Higgy is going to miss his chance, I can just feel it.
Edit 1: ANDUJAR SAVES IT!
Edit 2: RJ worked on Higgy
Napoli through on penalties, 4-5!

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
Has never Benitez lost in penalty kicks?
Champions final 2005 , FA Cup 2006 , Champions League semi final 2007 , Italian Supercup 2014, now ...
I wouldn't even care about it, if it didn't mean we must face Napoli at Napoli ( we always lose there, last victory in 1997) in quarter final in a knock-out game now ffs
And it is the 3rd time in last 5 years , and always at Napoli never in San Siro lol

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
In this instance, how is the decision to play at Naples made?

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
It was for draw, but the Coppa Italia draw is strange, I can't even explain it, there are seeds but the criteria about it are strange, basically the only certainty is Napoli-Inter in quarters in 2011 we won in penalty kicks, it is the only solution to survive from that helltown called San Paolo
Just the semi-final matches are with double round , not knock-out game
Basically the Coppa Italia is structured bad , it was never born a great tuning among Italians and own Coppa Italia

Who finished higher in the previous year Serie A gets to play the match at home.BarrileteCosmico wrote:In this instance, how is the decision to play at Naples made?
Anyway, I wanted to ask you, do you know Joaquin Correa? How good is he? Recently bought by Samp.

.
Not, not even this .
In Coppa Italia 2010-2011 Inter played at Napoli for example.
It is a particular draw ,it's even difficult to explain it

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
Why is the better team benefited? Shouldn't the worse finishing team get the home match to even it out a bit and promote upsets (=entertainment)?
I don't really know Joaquin Correa, seems he's only 20 though.

Yep , I'd prefer to translate again Plutarch from Greek to Italian than reading again that rule TBHKaty Perry wrote:This rule got implemented in the 12-13 season.

anyway :
it depends on number assigned to you , not for the table.
Infact we will have Parma - Juventus in quarters now , not Juve - Parma.
as I said it depends on number assigned to you , not for the table. the lower number prevails on other, and Napoli had the lower number than Inter. But it was not for the table. Infact these numbers are assigned from draw. basically draw gives for example number 1 to Inter number 2 to Juve number 3 to Milan etc and if then draw offers the match Inter-Juve , Inter would play at home because it had the lower number than Juve .
In this case Napoli had a lower number than Inter , Parma had a lower number than Juve , Milan had a lower number than Lazio . etc
Napoli has often low numbers

Milan are winning but Lazio are wasting one chance after another. Lopez is having a great match, its a shame he has to carry such a poor back line. Lazio should be getting back into this one soon

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
Lazio is playing wit this kit worn in 80's
When they wore this kit Lazio played in Serie B and they avoided the relegation in Serie C despite they began the league with a penalty ponts of 9 ( won the playout against the Campobasso ) .

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga II
I hope the naysayers will finally realise that Allegri wasn't the problem. Poor guy overachieved with the squads he had year in year out yet he was constantly getting flamed.
