I actually sold my Wii U as well and went back to playing my GC.

That's all I play now, GC and my PS4.

Still have my Gamecube somewhere in my house

Not sure where though

Some Gems on that console.

Had to buy a new Memory card online though.

Yes it had some fantastic games, despite the fact it sold like shit.

The PS3 is out-selling the Wii U. Mario, Super Smash, Zelda are coming to the end.

I would have before but they have alternative stuff which make them money now, it's not like before that they relied on the games solely.

Financially they'll be fine thanks to Amiibo ( which somhow sells like hotcakes ) mobile and they have even agreed a deal with Universal studios to add Nintendo based rides in their amusement parks

They'll be fine, even though the games themselves are not bringing in the cash they would hope for.

I want to be excited about Doom but I just feel like they will never properly recapture the tone and feel of doom properly in modern games

Doom should feel like going to an 80s heavy metal concert. Fast, fun, exciting. Yeah there is demon/evil imagery but it's really just there for fun and shock. Doom 3 went full on "let's try and scare people with creepy horror stuff" etc. with dark hard to see creepy environments

Doom should get you pumped. Rocking music, a character that runs at a million miles an hour in symmetrical, complex, bright levels.

Don't thinks there is even a remote chance of getting anything like that though. Just bioshock in hell or something is probably what we'll get

Doom 2 remains one of the greatest game to be made.

Final Fantasy is going to be released on iPad Is Final Fantasy XI the only real cross-platform multiplayer game? (PC,PS2,X360 and now iPad/iOS).

I used to really enjoy playing Quake 3 Arena. I never owned the game, myself, but a friend of mine had it. It was the first online FPS I ever played, and it was tons of fun.

Thimmy, I started type 0. Had the re-rise amulet and was wondering that surely I am not going to have this all the time since it won't make sense to never die at all in the game

Was taken away soon after.

Started with Agito difficulty. Couldn't even get past the two robot guns before the first boss lmao. Had to lower the difficulty.

You get better rewards from doing missions on Agito difficulty, but doing them on lower levels requires a tedious amount of dodging/passive playing I did a few missions on Agito after I had completed the game and my characters were up to par. I wanted to collect more summons, although I never seem to use them

By the way, if you ever get to a point where levelling up is becoming slow and bothersome, you can go to the "special missions" thing in the base/headquarter area and train one character while you're offline. If you're really fed up with levelling manually, you can put a character to offline training and then set the clock on your console 1 day forward, save, re-load the save, and your character will gain a shit ton of experience.

If Agito is the easiest difficulty, Agilo must be second and Agile must be the hardest.

Tried FF15 demo. Holy shit man. The graphics love how big the world is. Combat system seems cool too.

Reboot apparently.

Think that's a good decision.

Let's hope this is better than their last few. Might even buy it at some point
