FIFA 15 PS4 Pro Clubs Discussion II

Imo it's better if the any just focuses on controlling the defenders and dna's our best defensive any. Plus our link up play will be better since dna's pro won't be dribbling all time.

We've tried pretty much every way imo.

Pace is too op as usual. The sonic speed effect pros have when gliding through defenses is sickening imo. Not sure how EA released a game with such a huge bug.

It's not as if the CPU defenders are all elite defenders either. They're all slow scrubs. Add in the infinite amount of glitches and bobbles, yeh...

Can't wait to sell this arcadey pos game ffs.

A realistic game that has midfield play vs an unrealistic game where you hold R2, glide across the pitch and score.

Problem is, when I play as a true DM the creativity in the team takes a nose dive, and no matter what you do on clubs a clean sheet is not something you can rely on.

Hell earlier today in a game where I made a shit load of last ditch tackles and interceptions we still conceded 3 in 10 in game minutes.


Attacking momentum trumps defence, no matter what.

We should put less emphasis on defense and focus more on attack imo. There's nothing that can really be done at times when defending. The glitches, bobbles, op pace etc. Even with 5 at the back most top teams eventually find a way through. Most effective way to defend is PTB however.


Anyway imo right now there's 3 ways.

1. Dna any, 5 at the back PTB, human mid and human attack. Everyone presses and tracks back together.

2. Pure possession football. If the opponent doesn't have the ball, they can't attack. Patient football, pick the right moment when going for a through ball etc. No rushing the play, or losing the ball in dangerous areas. 1-2 touch passing. Limited dribbling. Earlier when I was any we didn't have enough possession, played too direct, lost the ball in dangerous areas etc. Basically did what we usually do. I know this can work because we've done it before in div 2/1 and also came up against teams who starved us of the ball.

3. Keep doing what we usually do, have a good run one day, get lucky and win div 1.

You make a good point, if we all press like mad and counter then we will be horrible to play against.

Point 2 is out of the window. You're shit at any and I don't have the patience to play such a mongoloid playstyle.

I'm never ever in my life going CB lmao but i'll reduce my dribbling (Hard I know lol) But it's the thing that creates chances and leads to lots of goals. It only turns bad when I over dribble. I need to calma with that lol

And yeah midfield is the most important thing in pro clubs. If we had pros on every midfield we'll defend much better. 1-2 pros and a cpu mid is just not enough for div 1, especially on the counters.

Everyone tracking back and ALWAYS have 1 midfielder to stay back. Can't have 3 midfielders attacking otherwise if we lose the ball they'll just run through our mid and most likely score..

Is it ok to recruit players from elsewhere for the GL club?

There's plenty of 86/87 rated players on EA forums who are looking for a club.
