US need to score with this pressure now. China look very disorganized defensively but it won't last, and the US need to make it count while they have the opportunity.

By far the best performance by the USA in this tournament so far, but it feels fragile while its still only 1-0. A second goal would end this now, I think.

That should have been the goal to end this... US need to be more clinical if they're going to stand any chance against Germany.

USA is so frustrating to watch

We need to be better against Germany or we won't advance. Rapinoe coming back will be a massive boost. Hopefully we put it together.

I wouldn't be surprised if the US start Morgan and Leroux or Rodriguez rather than Wambach against Germany. I think they'll try to use pace and movement to give Germany's backline problems rather than Wambach's power.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ended 1-0 either way or 1-1 (in which case I expect Germany would win on penalties).

Today was the first ever penalty shootout for the German women. I wasn't aware of that. But at the moment this means we never missed a PK in a shootout so far XD

I'm sure some Germany/Bayern fan will correct me on this, but she looks a bit like Marco Reus... at least, their mouth areas look very similar.

At half time, right before the second half started the team gathered and Abby Wambach was giving a speech while all the players were gathered in a circle.

Thanks to Fox I could hear what she said. " IN THE FIRST 5 MINUTES OF THIS HALF WE BETTER SCORE A ****ING GOAL" or something along those lines

Five minutes later They score.
