Taarabt is fundamentally a perfect player :

ambidexterity.
great crosses.
great finishing.
great free kicks .
great one vs one skills .
great passing and vision .

on his best day he's better than Ben arfa , menez etc..

too bad those days are very rare

For me, i'd put Menez when on form ahead of him, this is gauged from both player's time at Milan. Both have similar qualities tbh, but Menez for me is a game changer, he can singlehandedly tip the scales in our favor. Plus, Menez is a better finisher. The only criteria i'd put Taarabt ahead of Menez is probably workrate and maybe selflessness.

But it's just as Robes explained, playing time, more guarantees to be a starter.

Something i eluded as well which you couldn't read since blood was rushing to your brain, Inter look like a more stable club to me, building up, adding piece and value like Podolski few days ago. They have Kovacic whom they are trying to build around, and it will be easier for them to reach the top of Serie A if they continue with the same level of focus and signing.

As opposed to your club which is tail spinning, legend of the club retiring, performances from last season plummeting. And competition in EPL makes it much harder to jump level from one year to the other, specially when we are talking about those 4 CL spots.

All and all, Inter is a better option all things considered at the moment. And we all know he is looking to play to make that extra step to the chelsea, madrid, bayern level of club, all those young players do.

Not sure if your trolling for the last sentence or you really just mean he wants to increase his level of play to match what's required at the clubs you mentioned. If then wouldn't be asking for a loan option be better so that he can skip all the transfer BS later.

not sure what will happen to Inter, but they have less to do to go back to the top of their league than Liverpool atm. That's a key point.

And yes i meant that he wants to play a lot more to reach the level (if he can) that's required to be a starter in those big clubs.

A loan is not enough because it would take at least 2 or 3 seasons for him to build that reputation and show consistency at a high level. Besides, the way a club threats a loanee and a player they feel they can build around or for, is completely different.

So...if you have debt (meaning you owe money), and you borrow 150 mil to pay off some of that debt, doesn't that mean you still have a debt of 150 mil?

Thats basically thohir transfaring Moratti's debt into his own accounts. That puts us in better situation because a lot of tht debt is no longer on our books (a decline of 10m in interest expenses last year, do the math)

Thohir did a LBO (leverage buyout)... he didn't buy Inter with equity.  His investment was in the form of debt.  It's lower interest debt than the previous regime so the interest payments are lower... but it's still debt.  Manchester United was bought in the same way.

It's a means on insuring that the club is running in an optimal manner since it has to keep making the interest payments every month.

I did a lot of LBOs in the 90s and it's ruthless but effective.
