Re: Champions League: Group Stage Draw discussion
yes I
And Liverpool "relegated " in EL and it was close to go in final , then Aguero-Forlan destroyed the dream.
GOAT Hodgson in that year in EL.
I can remind everything about 2009 2010 for logical reasons

Re: Champions League: Group Stage Draw discussion
Italy will lose anohter team in CL, just Juve will pass
It wouldn't be a bad news indeed , if Roma and Napoli don't snub EL Italy can earn so many points on ranking . Surely more than it would have done with CL And I don't think they will snub anyway. Benitez doesn't snub Europa League and Roma has never won an European cup in it history , so it could be a great chance

I'm just gutted Malmo didn't go to group F.
The dream group of Atleti-Juve-Liverpool-Monaco was sooooooo close

Re: Champions League: Group Stage Draw discussion
Malmoe is not a great memory for Italian clubs.
It knocked out Inter of Matthaus in CL 1989 The Malmoe manager was Roy Hodgson
But this is just our problem probably, we were knocked also by Helsinborgs in CL play off 2000 ;( I never trust of Swedish teams for this reason

The schedule is out as well.
Matchday 1: LFC vs Ludogorets
Matchday 2: Basel vs LFC
Matchday 3: LFC vs Madrid
Matchday 4: Madrid vs LFC
Matchday 5: Ludogorets vs LFC
Matchday 6: LFC vs. Basel
Fantastic schedule for us. Basel at home on the last day gives us a good advantage over them.

Re: Champions League: Group Stage Draw discussion
Olimpiakos has lost even Manolas and Mitroglou . Juve will pass easily imo the group with GOAT CL Allegri
for me it is better so , Juve was really close to win EL 2014 and I wouldn't like to have again this risk

Yeah I remember facing Basel back then. They were our practice for Istanbul
they were beating us 3-0 at half time when we came back and drew 3-3 in the second.

Re: Champions League: Group Stage Draw discussion
Not a good draw overall but still interesting matches with new teams involves like Roma and Liverpool.
Group A: Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Olympiacos, Malmo
Atletico and Juve to battle for the first obviously. H2H between those two should determine that. But Olympiacos away is tricky. Malmo
1) Juve 2) Atletico 3)Olympiacos 4)Malmo
Group B: Real Madrid, Basel, Liverpool, Ludogorets
Madrid and Liverpool obvious favourites. Their own matches will be great. Not sure about Basel away though.
1) Madrid 2) Liverpool 3) Basel 4) Ludogorets
Group C: Benfica, Zenit, Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco
No one cares about this group. If Falcao stays then it gets interesting. Otherwise whatever.
1) Leverkusen 2) Benfica 3) Zenit 4) Monaco
Group D: Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, Anderlecht
Dortmund AGAIN for the 3rd time in 4 years. But we should be alright. Better than last year.
1) Arsenal 2) Dortmund 3) Galatasaray 4) Anderlecht
Group E: Bayern Munich, Manchester City, CSKA Moscow, Roma
Unlucky Roma. Bayern and City again. This time can see City progress beyond.
1) City 2) Bayern 3) Roma 4) Moscow
Group F: Barcelona, PSG, Ajax, APOEL,
Barca n PSG again lol. Poor Ajax n APOEL.
1) Bracelona 2) PSG 3) Ajax 4) APOEL
Group G: Chelsea, Schalke, Sporting Lisbon, Maribor
LOL chelsea getting an extremely difficult group again.
1) Chelsea 2) Schalke 3) Lisbon 4) Haribo Sweets
Group H: FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Athletic Bilbao, BATE Borisov
Another group no one cares about. Usually there is only one of those but we get two this time.
1) Porto 2) Bilbao 3) Shaktar Donetsk 4) Bate Motel

Re: Champions League: Group Stage Draw discussion
Atleti vs Juve will be a win-win for me.
If Atleti beat Juve home and away (which is honestly what is likely to happen imo) then I'll get to have some top bantz with Surag.
If Atleti lose then I'll be happy as well because what self respecting club loses to Juve in Europe
Bonus if Morata is the one to lead Juve to victory, bah gawd

Looks like it'll have to be the B team vs Pool in that case. Should be enough imo
