Set up Messi again today with a peach of a pass, probably should have had an assist.

If Los Che and Sevilla win tomorrow, Barcelona could find themselves 5th for the weekend. Not the end of the season obviously but Lucho really could have done with a win.

Messi, Neymar and Suarez and you fail to score at home
Not that I've watched, but sounds like a midfield problem?

We hit the woodwork I believe 4 times and their keeper made two insane saves.

If Suarez finished the way he racially abused people he could have had a hat trick

GunnerJay is not gonna be happy about that result. Really poor from Sevilla. But their grief is my happiness I guess.

Re: La Liga 2014/15 Discussion
Shockingly enough, 6 points separate the top 7 teams. Not even sure how Malaga is 7th though. Think they are like West Brom this year where you're not sure when they won a game.
It would even itself out by February but from a fan bragging point of view, always nice to see Spanish teams show just as much consistency as those big 2 (when my team is winning of course).

Larrivey "the new Batistuta" was basically the worst Serie A CF for years.

Larrivey actually had to rebuild himself in Spain. Basically I personally think any player who has played well for Rayo in the recent past under Paco Jemez deserves another shot at proving himself elsewhere.
Rayo play football that an elite team should be playing and yet they always fight for their lives during the season, because of this their players know what it means to play in must win games.

Re: La Liga 2014/15 Discussion
In 10 games neymar started just 7 of them (started 70%), while cr7 has started all 10 of his games (started 100%) and has 5-6 penalties. So neymar has 10 goals from 7 starts, while being subbed out 80% of the time, without penalties or freekicks, (7 of his 10 goals have being openers for barcelona while neymar has only failed to score in 2 of 10 games, while scoring 6 different away games, the highest this season. all in 7 starts and 3 from the bench) and without the team being built around him, in a declining barca..while cr7 has 12 goals in 10 starts from open play (without penalties), where he starts and finishes all games without getting subbed out, with the team being built around him with madrid being in the form of their lives..most of cr7 goals have been him mainly stat padding i.e scoring the fifth goals or 4th goals in a large win with so many penalties..while any player can afford the luxury of stat-padding in this barca right now. suarez on the other hand has only started 2 games for barca this season after 4 months of being away and already has thesame assists as cr7 in the league..

Re: La Liga 2014/15 Discussion
Although i agree cr7 has been the best player this season. But he hasn't been the sole most consistent/impactful player, all factors been equal. It belongs to cr7 (scoring in 8 straight la liga games and netting 17 goals in the process in the last 9 la liga games) and neymar (scoring 10 in the last 9 la liga games in 7 starts, and scoring in 5 different away games out of a possible 6). Messi on the other hand has 9 goals in 11 la liga games (11 starts) playing 90 mins in all 11 games with just 1 penalty. But, guess what? Messi shits in all dem faces with his number of assists this season in the league 8 assists in 11 games..eat that#

Dont think Atleti have what it takes to challenge for the title again. They aren't as lucky as last season. Its going to be between Valencia and Atleti for third place methinks

Interestingly enough, Valencia has been established long before DC comics came out and the logos don't look anywhere close but whatever...
