He has outright denied that he will go to Manchester though he wouldn't commit his future to Juventus. Should be interesting, Rodgers has said he wants more goals from midfield, and our attack is quite deep already (though not proven). I won't get my hopes up, but Vidal would be a good fit.

When has anyone said it's only a matter of time for Liverpool? I posted a rumour, and I said time will tell. I don't have hopes or expect that Vidal is coming to Liverpool.

imo Vidal is not convinced to remain. not only because Conte went out but because after 3 scudetti in a row he is tempted by new motivations . Even the interview yesterday testifies it . When the journalist asked him about his future , he wanted to avoid to talk about it " I don't know" although the journalist insisted and he was surrounded by fans.

But anyway these his thoughts clash with those of Juventus FC who, conversely, is not so convinced to sell him because it hasn't the need to do it

We ' ll see if his desire to change is really so strong or if for Juve it will be enough to talk with the player to solve his doubts/thoughts

To be honest if an offer close or over 60m euros came in I'd sell him in an instant.

Vidal or no Vidal makes no difference to me. It's not like we will challenge for the Champions League with him or fail to compete for the Scudetto without him.

it also depends what kind of contract Man yoo are offering. he is 27, it could be a great opportunity to sign a massive deal that sees him well into his 30's.

Vidal himself has already said he's not going to Manchester, so unless another club is coming with bids of 50m euros or more I don't think he's going to move, and even then it's unlikely that he moves as Juventus don't need to sell him.

Yesterday, although it was probably just a generic 'I'm going to stay' response to a question and probably doesn't mean much. Ronaldo was saying similar things, a week later he moved.

Seems pretty definitive. He's not ruling out a transfer away from Juventus, but he is ruling out Manchester.

Regardless given that Vidal plays with Pogba and Tevez I can't see him being too keen on heading to Manchester United. I can't see him wanting to go to a team without CL football also, but who knows? Crazy transfers and things happen in this sport all the time.

We'll see in time, but I suspect if anything LVG will wait for the winter window and make a move for Strootman which could end up just as good.

yeah probably, judging by the transcript the Guardian have it sounds like just that.

in the short term it means *bleep* all, they have CL money so no one's going to care.

There's some clubs that CL doesn't matter at least in the short term and Man Yoo are one of them.

I can't see anything that makes Manchester United more attractive to Vidal than Liverpool would be right now, if he is moving and indeed if they are both bidding on him.

And Vidal is the same player who went in Juve in 2011 when he was contended by Juve and Bayern and Juve was not even in Europa League
