Problem with the Bulls is despite how loaded their bigs are, that outside of Rose their guardplay is poor and even he is liable to turning it over at a high rate.

Not to mention the publicised problems they have on the wing, I think if Rose is healthy they beat Cleveland but they have too many weaknesses to go further.

I think they need one wing player, probably a shooting guard who can put the ball on the floor a little.

Butler is a 3, not a 2.

Only way to deal with it I guess.

I dont think Jerebko is that bad a player tbh though.

Yeah he's not. He could do well in a better situation but he's buried behind like 5 bigs on Detroit and also makes 4.5m. Will probably be moved mid-season imo.

I was going to sign up for League Pass again. But I heard great things about Ballstreams.com last season. So I decided to give it a shot. It's cheaper than LP, the quality is just as good, maybe better. The player doesn't crash every 5min like LP and it's all 30 teams.

$55 US for 6 months of the season. 1 year was 90 but the 6 months takes you up until the end of March. After that I'll only need 1 more month. Don't see the point unless you don't get the playoffs on TV.

My friend has that, watched one game of last years Finals there, it lagged a little but but meh..

He's not in Durant and LeBron's class. Other than that I don't see anything wrong with what he's saying.

He's not a Superstar.

He sure as hell isn't consistent and possibly, these last two seasons have been his most 'consistent'.

And he's anything but 'underrated'. The dude gets a pass from virtually everybody for not having help, yet the guy hasn't shown that he has the ability the lead a team to any type of success in the post-season that shows 'help' is all he needs to win.

If anybody is underrated it's Westbrook.

He was arguably the second best player in the season before last, which is pretty much a superstar in my book the way he's played these last few years. One of the 3 most skilled scorers in the game at the moment.
Pretty much you disagree with his comments because of semantics of the term superstar.
He'll have an amazing year this year I reckon, looks in the shape of his life. He really only have himself to blame for not being considered a top 3 player in the league, because the skills are there.

I dont know if Melo is a superstar or not, I dont understand that term at all.

But I would like to here the players which arent and are.

Izzy, why do you say Westbrook is underrated? Just this week I have heard him being called the best point guard in the game aswell as a top 5 player in the league.

Well for me, these are the current Superstars in the league right now;
Durant
LeBron
Kobe*
Duncan**
Parker**
For me, these are the best players in the game, through consistency, the MVP level they play at in the regular season and post-season and their recent success (Durant is pushing it though).

*Got to see what Kobe we get this year, but can not deny the consistency over the years.
** Spurs players never get the credit they deserve for some reason.

I used to have Dirk (who had a resurgent year last year), Howard and D-Wade as Superstars, but injuries and performance have declined.

Those people calling Westbrook the best PG are insane.
The only reasons I can think of for them to call him that are;

1. People refuse to recognize the greatness of Tony Parker.
2. People are finally jumping off the CP3 bandwagon.
3. Derrick Rose hasn't played in 2 years. Same for Rondo really.
So, it's probably by default.

The reason why I call him underrated is because, the guy averaged 28-7-8 in the playoffs last year, that's LeBron-esque. Yet, the guy still gets blamed for OKC's struggles all the time. Whenever they lose, it's his fault. You even hear nonsense that it would be better for Durant if Westbrook was traded. We all saw what happened in 2013 when Durant went up against Memphis by himself and what happened this year against Memphis. I don't think people realize how important and crucial he is for that team and see him more as a hindrance to the team.

He has his enormous faults (his shot selection and decision making ) and I think he went 1-30 in overtime games in the post-season last year (that is insane). There's no way he's the best.

Thats really a list you cant argue with and your definition makes it clear why Melo isnt in there.

I think the Westbrook best point guard thing was a mix of what your saying plus people believe Westbrook being the best player who plays the point guard position...which isnt the same as being the best point guard, even if it was true.

I dont think Westbrook is a hinderence and I think OKC need his scoring, badly. But I do think he cause them some problems on a fundemental level.

That being said, I guess I get why you call him underrated when people say OKC are better of without him. That isnt true.

All you ever hear is how 'athletic' and 'explosive' he is. Which is all well and good, but he's not the best Pure Point Guard.

But for me, Durant is benefiting from this. He is getting away from any type of criticism because of Westbrook (and Scott Brooks which is rightfully deserved).
The more you hear and read about it, it's ridiculous.
He needs to be way more assertive this year.

I dont think he will, he would have done it already otherwise.

Kobe and MJ would have never stood for this, never.

That being said, if Brooks had a real offence he wouldnt have to do anything. Everyone would know what the right and wrong moves are and there couldnt be an argument about what Westbrook should and shouldnt do.

He's playing in a comfort zone imo.
He recently said he has the same 'killer instinct' as MJ and Kobe.
Now, I don't really like using those terms, but there's no way he's says something like that if he wasn't feeling comfortable.

People need to really get on him.
