Strange saga. Ignoring my personal valuation of the player for a second ... Vidal has contract until 2017 and seems to be rated as the unquestionable MVP of Juve. Juve don't need to sell. But if they want to surely there are going to be more suitors for him than United (didn't Ancelotti want him last season?) and surely it can't be the rumoured € 40M fee. Juve's MVP with contract until 2017 leaving for € 40M seems unreal when even Roma are not letting go of Benatia and demanding € 60M.

It's probably true. I just don't see why Juventus would sell Vidal so easily to United. If he's on the market then uncle Flo will get in there and drive his price up to € 70M+. Proud

I won't be relaxed until the market closes though. I always laughed at MU - Vidal rumours just until Conte resigned.

Not going to come out and say Conte left because we've decided to sell our best player, is he?

I don't place much in those comments, We'll see how it unfolds in the coming days/weeks

"I have heard about the interest shown by Real Madrid and [Manchester] United in me but there is someone [Vidal's agent] who deals with this."

Vidal moved to Juve from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011 and scored 11 goals in 32 league appearances to help the Turin giants win their third straight league title last season.

Juve stated earlier this week that they have no intention of selling Vidal unless the midfielder expresses his wish to leave.
Vidal, who has three years left on his contract with the Bianconeri, has not ruled out staying at Juve for the long term.

"Have I completed a cycle [at Juve]? I don't feel that way," he said. "Perhaps I will remain at Juventus all my life.

"Once I arrive to Italy I will speak to the coach and see what happens.
