Take a look at city all of there success came from there DM :p

it's actually De Jong who's the backbone of city. but nonetheless, yaya is class and it wouldve been lovely to have him at arsenal

All i remember of this fool is that sulk he had in the centre circle after the defeat against Birmingham. It's one of those things that, when rivals bring it up, it's an instant argument winner, because there's nothing i can do or say to alleviate the embarrassment and shame

Not worth it.

Our defense was better, but you couldn't say that Gallas instead of Squillaci wouldn't have been an improvement in that respect.

It's sort of the same thing we'll see with Samba i think. except we know gallas is capable of coping at arsenal.
Sure, but is it worth it having the changing rooms up in flames? Plus, don't you remember this?

He was also asking for 80k a week. Sure, he would have been an improvement over Squilashit, but would still bring a lot of problems.

I wouldn't have a problem with Samba because we need a strong, tall player, he would not earn that much money and would in any case be a backup most of the time.

Well the way i see it, Gallas and Samba will be just as bad for our dressing room. I think the cost of bringing in Samba, and Squillaci, is more than the wages we would have had to pay.

Samba wouldn't eat much wages, I mean he's playing in a midtable club. Gallas was asking for 80k, which for an oldie is a lot.

Everyone is hard on Samba attitude but he's in position that's allowed to do so, club captain, one of their best and long serving player. At Arsenal, it's different, he's new, 3rd choice, don't think he can get attitude with anyone.

He's only been captain for about 4 months. I don't know if you saw it but a couple of months ago he actually assaulted one of his fellow defenders for leaning on his knees. At which time one of the other players came along and pushed him off.

Samba is no better than a mere 3rd choice for us at Arsenal and he should know so we don't need any flaming back in the dressing room.
