Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
it would be just as easy for man yoo, but your club lack direction and never really quite applied pressure on the market to sign top players. We have used to it, we have a whole system. We get players to turn on their clubs and we force the to sell. it's ruthless but it works.RED wrote:Mr Nick09 wrote:not disrespectful when it's the truth. he stepped up in life.RED wrote:I'm jealous of how these guys always get top,top players every summer, with relative speed too.
While we flaf about and drag it on right up until deadline day....
....and end up empty handed.
edit: I've just seen that quote above. So disrespectful. LOL
ou have herrera, why complain, he is a top player you will see.
I'm happy we have Herrera. I'm not complaining in that aspect when it comes to signings, more of how astute RM are when it comes to signing the very top players- and do it with ease.
Ofcourse being a huge prestigious club helps.
you have some jobber named woodward spending 36 mil on Shaw lol. now that Fergie is gone, you will have to develop tha muscle flexing technique to sign players, it will come.

Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
One of the best pin-point passers in the game today but lacking technical ability to play the type of (possession) football Pep is after.
I can 100% understand the sale.
I can 100% understand the sale.
Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
It seems like a win-win-win-win scenario for all the parties.
Madrid get a good player.
Kroos joins a big club that can make use of him/gets paid.
Bayern can keep Pep happy.
Pep can continue his plan to sabotage German football from within. (He almost did it in Brazil since Lowe was so in love with Lahm in midfield lol)

So Illarra off to porto on loan now, that's the most logical move for him

'lacking technical ability'.
danyjr, I'm sorry to stalk you but your assessment of players are so ridiculous it hurts.
You quite obviously don't know what you'e talking about, would be interested if you saw any league game of ours for example.

Please enlighten me then, why did Guardiola let Kroos leave?
PS: Didn't say lacking technical ability. I said lacking technical ability to play the sort of possession game Guardiola expects.
Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
enlighten me, how was Guardiola going to keep Kroos?
Extend his contract by managerial decree?

Must be those people from Greifswald. The ex-girlfriend of my bro was from Greifswald, too, and just dumped him after 7 years from one day to the other. She just packed her things without any warning and moved to some other guyRED wrote:edit: I've just seen that quote above. So disrespectful. LOL

Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
you know what, you're right.
I've got to change my mindset - I can't go on defending the girl that dumped me
The truth is, he was never a good enough player for us, neither mentally nor technically, too much of a donkey to execute Pep's vision.
We made that clear to him, that's why he decided to leave, he wouldve only warmed the bench next season anyway.

Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
Tony kroos had the most touches of the ball and made more passes than any player in the Fifa world cup 2014 #playmaker

Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
Great player on his own. 'Interesting' signing more than 'great' signing.
Not sure what Carlo wants him for. If he is Alonso's replacement then that's poor because he is even worse defensively. If he is Di Maria's replacement then let's not even discuss how stupid that would be.
But Carlo is a great coach. Made Isco defend adequately so who knows.

Kroos > Thiago and is not even close at the moment. Much more proven, much more developed and much less injury prone.

I don't rate Hapeless/Idriozet/Messiah's footballing knowledge but he is right, you are truly and utterly clueless.
Kroos was probably Pep's favourite player and played most minutes. Although a bit slow and uncreative he was a key aspect in Pep's possession football due to his ability to retain possession and dominate matches.
Pep was one of his greatest supporters which can be further illustrated by Kroos' goodbye posts in which he praises Pep to the sky and rates him even considerably higher than Jupp.
Pep will be definitely disappointed and he wanted Lahm-Kroos-Thiago midfield but the loss would not be big for Bayern in the middle term. It would take a few months but Schweni or Pierre will step up.

Last year of his contact... he was free to sign anywher he wanted in January. This is why you never want to wait until before the last year to make a transfer...

Well, Bayern wanted to extend him, not transfer him. Moreover, you normally want to play a player (hence it's "player") and not only keep him as chesspiece to make money on transfers.

Re: Official: Toni Kroos to Real Madrid
That's the risk... you can risk it and maybe the player changes his mind and extends. But if he doesn't, you lose a lot of money.
Bayern don't need the money anyhow. So i understand the decision.
