Manuel Neuer's performance is beyond any scales whoscored has for GKs and thus their marks for him are totally way off.

I think he went like 6 months with out a foul in 2012-13 season. Not surprised, if Varane has one flaw about him it is that he doesnt foul at all, he needs to become a bit more dirty. At the moment he is too clean for a CB.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that their stat system doesn't consider sweeping a save even though they're both just as crucial. He did a lot of sweeping but not a lot of saving vs Algeria.

Hence, stats can only be used to support arguments rather than to draw conclusions from them, and we must be aware of their weaknesses.

Lol. Most of these stats are rediculous at best. There's somethings stats wouldn't tell/show u. Like pressing, quality of dribble, fear factor, quality of your marking, etc. At time like these u use the eye test too. Football is more than stats, if not, the maradonas, ronaldinhos wouldn't be where they are today. Just take a look at that list. :facepalm:
