Without Navas the penalties were going to infinity. Greece must be spending 90 % of their training time practicing penaldos.

Greece are broke, the bonus would've been an expired happy meal coupon from 2003

Sad for Greece, very close to this country and culture , the having learnt the Greek language at school was the best thing made by me in school.
If they would have won today , I could bet on their final victory Greece 2004-esque
the Greek hoofball is fruitful and they never die , even when they seem finished at group stage
Mitroglou has on his conscience that miss to 120' . If I remember his hype on January LOL what an involution
Respect for Costa Rica anyway . Very organized NT, they haven't still lost a match although they played in a death group, it was difficult to image this . Navas is a God
but they are destined to lose badly against Netherlands.
Great difference + 120 minutes
It's better so anyway . Forza Olanda.

nah , let them hate , who cares what they say
As for the game , respect to Costa Rica who held their own after the red and survived the extra time as well. Gave their everything and they deserved to go through afterall . But i am afraid this is as far as it gets for them , or Greece had we went through instead . Holland got this any day.
As for Greece , well we only have ourselves to blame tbh , from all the chances we had , 2 stood in particular , one in the first half with Salpigidis and one with Mitroglou late in the game and they couldn't do it . At least Mitroglou should have , but oh well. There was even that chance when we got 5 players on the counter against their 2 and they managed to throw it away. Can't blame the penos for the end result , should have ended before that .
Normally i would say some more about the game and all , but seeing all the hypocrisy and hipster bandwagoning of Costa Rica , it's really not worth my time . It's quite funny tho both Costa Rica and Greece are pretty much made of the same stuff and Costa Rica has been far more boring than Greece , bar their very first game of course. It was boring when Greece were obliged to defend against Japan with 10 men , but come to check what GL has to say this time , Costa Rica doing the exact same and nobody bats an eye . Because logic .
All in all , props to those who spared a few good words about Greece , it would have been massive to get our arses handed over by the Dutch in the 8 but we can't have everything can we

Mitroglou had a serious injury sometime in January i think and after that he missed almost the entire 2nd half of the season. Far from any sort of form in this wc. Had he stayed healthy all this time he would have started every single one of our games and with much different impact . Bad luck for him and even worse news for the nt .
Rest i pretty much agree .
P.S You know some Greek , dat Robes
I could always teach you some useful bad words if you want
